I found out that the hero of the Vaulters Opbot uses a pirate ship instead of a Vaulter one

@NikolaY: 1) In the original game, the hero ships are defined as small one-man ships. This circumstance is hard-coded and cannot be changed. So these big carrier ships are fully automated ships piloted by great heroes ... ;-) 2) In the game engine, fighter jets and bombers are not intended for hero ships. Even though the hero ships are huge carrier ships (for the game, they're still tiny little nut shells) ... I'm glad you like the mods! :steamthumbsup:

I have a few questions: 1) The hero's ship don't load troops, is a bug or was made that way? Because i see that +0 next to the icon of the troops. 2) The carriers have the icon for fighters but can't put any, is not possible to give them fighters because would be too overpowered? Aside of that, the mod of medium ships and this one are awesome

@Bromold: Thank you for your efforts and the detailed bug report! :steamthumbsup: The cause of the problem was apparently the Cravers's defender carrier ship design not being assigned as a hero ship. Thus, this ship class/role could not be assigned to the Cravers heroes. I hope this solves the problem ...

@js.cap44.hh: The problem is when using mods that unlock heroes at the beginning of the game. I tested it by creating a script with all the heroes and only when adding the Cravers faction I got the error. But when investigating further, I replicated the error and found that by modifying the ShipDesign area of the heroes to "AFHERCravers_MediumAttacker" the mod works perfectly with any of the mods that add heroes at the beginning of the game.

@Bromold: Thanks for your report. This mod does not unlock any hereos. It only assigns other ship-designs (i.e. carrier ships) to the heroes in the game ...

The issue that fails to launch using mods that unlock all heroes is caused by an issue related to Cravers. It has been identified that they cannot start with more than 1 hero.

@theksterman: Thanks for this detailed bug report! Since this mod shares the same codebase as the heroes medium ships mod exept for the hull/shipdefinition part, the problem could be located in that area. I suspect that the game engine cannot handle this large number of oversized heroes ships. Therefore I recommend the mod with the medium-sized heroes ships ( https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1892664348 ) which are strong enough in my opinion ...

I had the same issue as Merican_Toad, I have the sandbox mod on along with this mod only and have your mod loaded last. However I think this might be an issue with having a large number of heroes in your faction as when launching a new game with the sandbox mod option of giving all the vanilla heroes will cause it fail. I hit the recruit bug at 13 heroes and couldn't recruit the 14th. The bug has all three heroes with the same carrier ship as the first one, however it doesn't make sense since the 2nd and 3rd heroes are not part of the same major faction. Once you hit this bug, you effectively can't continue.

@ramyun2000: Thanx for the report! Very strange. Maybe it's really because of the missing DLCs ... If the game freezes, try zooming in and out on the galaxy map. Sometimes this trick helps to clear the blockage. And you can use the ESG mod https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2619002053 which fixes some annoying game bugs. And with this mod constellation, too, the Heroes mod should be placed last in the loading order ... Have fun!

Saddly, same bug has occurred... after I'm done academic quest.
That's was not with ex-savefile, but new playing with this mod only.
I guess, It's not working without DLC (I have no DLC)

I'm going to subscribe your middle ship verstion. I hope that it works. Thanks

@js.cap44.hh : I think that's not the problem. I always dismiss battle reports.

I thought the save-file was over-writed, but luckly I found 3rd-one's save file(around 95 turns)
So, I've tried again, and same issue is occured on 153 turn. (I'm on doing accademic quest)

below is the screenshot.
The options are un-activated 'Leave to the menu' & 'Load' during the bug. The only way is 'Quit the game'.

@ramyun2000: Thanx for the report! This malfunction of the game could be the famous "endless pending bug". One solution which may be work is to close the notification bubbles on the right side of the screen ...

It's interesting mod, but It CANNOT turn over when 100+ turns. Endless Waiting. Only way to stop this is leaving the game.

I've played 3 times. First issue was occured 115 turns, Second one was 125 turns, Last one occured 145 turns. First & sencond were played with multiple mods. So I tried to play with only this mod, but same issue was occured.

# Normal game speed, custom faction (craver trait + liftborn population)

Good concept mod, but I'm so sorry that problem.

this mod broke my game, Turn 111 and i get a recruit hero notification thats all bugged out thanks to this mod. i couldnt accept it so that play through was effectively ended. Cool mod i just with it hadnt ended like that :(

@Mask of Humble: Yep, heroships do not have a crew per se. In the vanilla game, the hero vessels are 1-person fighter nutshells. There was therefore no space for crews or even soldiers to hijack enemy ships. This fact is implemented and hard-coded in the game. So these giant hero carrier ships are fully automatic robo-ships ... ;)
