I've re-uploaded this mod which can be found here .

Will take down when AdmrlHellNinja updates this one!
MANTIZZLE 19 Jun @ 4:53pm
it seems nm9 is correct, none of them work anymore
NM9 17 Jun @ 12:05pm
Oh weird well I tested 3 different XP curve mods earlier today and none of them are working in 1.0.4 it seems(?)
AdmrlHellNinja  [author] 17 Jun @ 10:02am
Huh. I'm not sure why it isn't working. No major difference in the code or naming conventions, that would cause for it to not work.
AdmrlHellNinja  [author] 17 Jun @ 9:39am
I'll look into fixing it. Thanks for letting me know!
NM9 17 Jun @ 12:19am
It seems a recent patch broke all exp mods?
AdmrlHellNinja  [author] 15 Jan @ 5:21pm
As far as I know!
Kinasin 15 Jan @ 4:02pm
is this working with 1.0
Deon ☣ 7 Jun, 2024 @ 6:43pm
Thank you for maintaining the mod.

It probably took a bit for the update I made to hit steam servers.
piezwarlord27 7 Jun, 2024 @ 2:12pm

piezwarlord27 7 Jun, 2024 @ 2:12pm

piezwarlord27 7 Jun, 2024 @ 2:11pm

I've tested it up to level 65, and it feels alright.
AdmrlHellNinja  [author] 24 Dec, 2023 @ 11:08pm
Fixed and updated the code in the mod to be in line with the most recent update. It should now work as intended. Let me know if anything seems off.
Fuligin 7 Dec, 2023 @ 7:21pm
@Raeyunred lol thanks for the tip I'm so installing this then, always disliked the artificial exp cap
Raeyunred 5 Dec, 2023 @ 10:43pm
This was working but I think with the recent updates now it just gives 100% exp all the time which is, from a balance standpoint, probably broken.
pickpickpickpickpickpickpickpick 8 Apr, 2023 @ 8:23am
I'm assuming this still works? :)

bearhiderug 26 Feb, 2022 @ 2:32pm
yeah cool!
Sorry but those wierd questions is where my brian goes with everything 0.0

Not that i would go 20 stratta deep to fight a snapclaw..
=-p
AdmrlHellNinja  [author] 26 Feb, 2022 @ 3:30am
In theory, yes. As long as the level of the enemy you are facing is within at least one tier of you, it would be beneficial to find the lowest possible level of that particular enemy, in order to maximize exp gains in regards to the amount of work that needs to be done in order to kill them.
bearhiderug 25 Feb, 2022 @ 11:12pm
so...
um..
if i understand depth/tier correctly, wouldnt getting to very very low depths jet more xp from the same "snapjaw" as the same varient albiet lower lvl on the surface?

Mind you...
very deep depths run the risk of instant death from a few things on rare occasion
just a side not unrelated to xp
AdmrlHellNinja  [author] 25 Feb, 2022 @ 7:48pm
Tier is calculated based on level. Which is Floor(Level/5). So in example levels 1-4 are Tier 0, 5-9 are Tier 1, and so on.

A level 19 enemy is Tier 3, and I'm level 15 (which is also Tier 3), I will receive 100% exp.

If that enemy was 20, while i was at 15, that is a 1 tier difference, which would award me 125% exp.

A level 14 enemy while at level 15 is still a 1 tier difference, but this time they are 1 tier lower, which would result in 75% exp being gained.

I hope this helps! Good luck on your future runs!
bearhiderug 25 Feb, 2022 @ 6:27pm
MY BAD
i am back...
apologize in advance...
Going to give this xp varient a go for my next five or six deaths!
Could you please explain,
If the enemy is 1 Tier higher
1 Tier lower

When you say Tier you mean character level or zone level or is there another type?
McHollow 23 Dec, 2021 @ 11:55am
No worries, and thanks for the help/clarification! :VBCOOL:
AdmrlHellNinja  [author] 22 Dec, 2021 @ 11:00am
I'm sorry. I thought you already came to the conclusion that it doesn't work because of Wander Mode. The game mode sets the EXP gained from enemies killed to 0 regardless of the difference in tier levels.
McHollow 22 Dec, 2021 @ 7:17am
okay, that makes sense, @AdmrlHellNinja, but that doesn't help me with my initial problem lol.
> "this doesnt seem to give me any XP in Wander Mode when i kill enemies."
is this a fault of Wander Mode granting 0XP? or is it a bug? or did it just install wrong for me?
AdmrlHellNinja  [author] 20 Dec, 2021 @ 10:04pm
You wouldn't be able to use this mod, and the "Always Get 1XP" mod at the same time, as they both modify the same file, in different ways.
McHollow 17 Dec, 2021 @ 10:18am
this doesnt seem to give me any XP in Wander Mode when i kill enemies. is it because that mode removes the XP values so there is nothing to multiply off of? should i pair this mod with the "Always Get 1XP" mod to get the desired effect?
bearhiderug 20 Nov, 2021 @ 1:45pm
lol, I currently have the 1 xp mod. I will try this one next playthrough.
I meant in general, after 40 it seems hard to gains any xp lol
AdmrlHellNinja  [author] 20 Nov, 2021 @ 1:43pm
I'd imagine that the gains at 40+ would be pretty minimal, as you'd have to go full murder hobo on lower leveled enemies to make any noticeable dent in the amount of experience you need to hit the next level. The main takeaway is that you're still getting *some* experience even though you're killing a glowpad. xD
bearhiderug 20 Nov, 2021 @ 12:55pm
Wonder what the gains would be like at level 40+
Its a struggle finding/getting xp aside from books after 40
throdin006 20 Nov, 2021 @ 7:45am
Good shit, works well
