So I try to apply this mod. I create the rule-set with this. I hit compile. Then I load the save of my game. It just stays on the game loading screen forever. I just want the Stamina potions to be fixed. Please help as I would like to use this mod, but I can't get it to work with my existing save.

@Oarchid0 Black Card is fixed and the elemental blades. Could you tell me if the description are fixed for the other items since I don't have them yet

@Oarchid0 for the orbs in particular when I was play testing them with the sun and eclipse characters they felt relatively strong when ever you got them. it felt like they were the best hand items for the character so I decided to make them give the opposite element. Because there is no light without darkness or darkness with out light. Plus this allowed for the sun and eclipse to better support each other or other characters that want these elements to do the same.

@Oarchid0 Thank you, I actually notice that there was something wrong with the drake scale items. it seems that some items that needed text changes to their descriptions got messed up I actually was using a round about way to fix it (if you look at the cure potions and their descriptions). I don't know why I code them correctly but I'm take a look at everything and try to fix these. I appreciate you taking a look.

An observation I have is that I would have expected the elemental Orbs to add rolling modifiers for the elements they produce rather than consume, so the Orb of Dawn would add 2 rolling Light cards to your deck and the Orb of Twilight add Dark. Just an opinion of course, but seemed more in line with the theme of the item.

There is a bug in the LangUpdate.csv file. The value for item_blackcard_1 only has a double quote at the end so the subsequent strings are messed up:

item_blackcard_1,Choose one normal or elite or boss enemy within <nobr>Range <sprite name=Range> 3.</nobr>"

It needs a quote at the start (or remove the end one)

item_blackcard_1, " Choose one normal or elite or boss enemy within <nobr>Range <sprite name=Range> 3.</nobr>"

Just double checked and some of the item cards are being updated. The ones that are not are:

Black Censer
All 3 Drakescale items
All 6 Blades
Robes of Summoning

The rest are updated fine, I'll continue digging...

I am not seeing the LangUpdate.csv changes on the cards in the Merchant. The prices are being updated so I know the mod is being picked up, but no text changes on the cards. I have started a new ruleset and used this and the SeeAllItems mod only to check out all the cards and none of them have the new text. I am running patch 26154. Do you have any idea why this could be happening?

I can see from your screenshots that they work for you so wondering what I could be doing wrong

@Darth Neon I don't think any mods work for modded multiplayer as of yet. I could be wrong. Has anyone else been able to play modded multiplayer? Because I would love to play my mods with my friends.

Hey everyone I just wanted some opinions on the elemental Blades items number #77-82. I heard from two people that they seem over powered so I just want some feedback. The next change I would do is make each blade give a plus one modifier for their element or maybe a rolling modifier for their element and return the cost to 30. I haven't gotten to play with them myself yet.

stamina potion buff doesnt work, did i do sth wrong? i can click only one card to recover. had same problem with the other stamina mods too.... is is the version? an additional key?

@pitiflauticus I do see what you mean and thank you for presenting your opinion respectfully a lot of people don't do that. The sword buffs were the last changes I added to this mod because they needed something and this is what I came up with. In my experience what other characters can do with elements are usually stronger than what these blades could do before I changed them. because these only work with melee and are on a single enemy. There is a trade off you're using the element which could have been used differently, the only time there's no trade off is if your enemies generated the element. I really just need opinions from Play testers like you to help me make this more "balanced". I wanted to make Blade of storms have a pierce of one or a push of two but I didn't want it to be an outlier compared to the other blades. Because Air in my opinion is the weakest out of all elemental infusion in the game in general.

I will reiterate what I said in the discussion board it really doesn't matter if you nerf the stamina potions because no matter what they can be broken by the Quartermaster just like the other to recover discard cards items #069 Star Earring, #095 Scroll of Stamina and the items that let you get them back #017 Empowering Talisman, #045 Pendant of Dark Pacts. You just get #69 and #95 much later in the game. The only way to fix this issue is to turn all 4 of recover discard items in to permanently lost items so you can no longer loop them. It really comes down to the player and what lengths their willing to go to reach infinite turns. Because no matter what, how many cards in your hand will always be the clock that your racing against to complete the scenario and the ways to extend that clock should be limited.

These are MAJOR buffs.

Adding Disarm to the Storm blade is brutal. With the right elemental support, it's a guaranteed disarm every single turn on top of the extra damage with no tradeoff.

The items changed from "consumed" to "spent" are an even scarier proposition, balancing wise: from using them once per scenario to potentially 5-8 times is truly excessive. Some, like the Curious Gear, may not be needed more than 2-3 times (but that's already enough to remove ALL traps in the scenario), but others like the fueled falchion will become devastating. This updated items are going to trivialize many scenarios.

Some of the items need some love (halberd cost reduced to 65 gold is an example that a necessary change that doesn't destroy the overall balance) but this set of changes seem an unbalanced massive buff. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade. Just sharing my two cents.

@EmylRobin OG Gloomhaven has had minor stamina refresh 2 cards as major refreshes 3.

It may be over powered, but that may be the way OG players enjoy playing the game.

Why did you buff stamina potions? In the video you linked, there are S tier, that means already too powerfull !

I think it could be very interresting to have a discussion about items and balace
