@Jeppuli We might make 4 years anniversary update for BMCER and this mod would get updated at the same time, but not sure yet

@Jeppuli Those are character manifest issues so nothing to do with this mod, I will try to remember to fix those for BMCER though.

Ok, well mainly I've just been encountering cases of grunts having two goggles on at the same time (as in one strapped onto the helmet and another one being worn normally). I've also seen cases of NVGs/NVG mounts being either attached to a hardhat, cap, bandana or directly to the grunts head. If those are just game limitations though, then I understand.

Hope I don't seem nit-picky though. This is still a really high quality mod, and it's been hard to play Black Mesa without this & BMCE:R.

Very minor issue, but one of the leg gibs for the DOE version of the HECU is using the wrong texture, as in it's a non-bloody version of the CBRN leg model.

Okay... it's a good project, no doubt, but I have a few criticisms...

Firstly... why the hell are soldiers wearing badges? This is a force that was literally sent to annihilate and destroy the Black Mesa people, why the hell would they wear badges declaring who they are?

Secondly: Why are they wearing safety vests? They're military personnel, that doesn't make sense.

@shadow on the wall I have heard of this https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2109309546&searchtext=pre+disaster being able to cause issues lie this so if you have it installed uninstall it as a test. If you dont have it installed or uninstalling it doesnt help, try playing with just BMCER and HECUR to see if it still happens then. And be sure to start new save when testing, old saves are sure to cause problems.

some hecu still appeared with buggy textures, missing body parts and no equipment, I swear I followed all the steps for installation

@DWBoyGamer Hey I have a Question, so I actually can't work on models or textures because I'm not exactly tech savvy but if I could do that. Would I be Okay if I asked for permission to edit Your Teams models for use on Gmod or would that be a massive No-No? Again, I'm asking because if I was able to do all that, would I be OK to?

@DWBoyGamer I know, I was just asking what You and the Team thought of such a concept is all. I actually asked because I had checked the web to see if anyone did that before but was kind of surprised when I saw there was nothing of the sort. As I stated before it was merely just a thought not a request. I'm not one of those people Who go into the comments that go ''Oh! @DWBoyGamer Hey so I was doing some thinking and had thought this up. Now I want to clarify ahead of time that this is in no way some vague attempt to get this added but merely a cool thought I had that I wanted to share with You and the team. So basically You know that one popular fanmade HECU patch that JoAcoNS used on His reskins? (I don't know the original artist) Basically That same patch but without the HECU tag in the middle, outlined in gold like how the 2024 versions of these models had the HECU patch and the twist being the USMCs Eagle anchor and globe in the middle in either gold or silver. I wanted to know what You guys thought of that and again I'm not trying to get You guys to add this but merely wanted some thoughts from other HL fans. PS sorry for another long comment.

@razorscleo89 Ah you meant giving them the same NVG as what HECUR models have. No I dont think we will do that, I prefer them having the current lore accurate style one BMCER gives them.

@Hgrunt Medic Grenadier rucksack is not going to be removed, we purposefully removed the gunner rucksack to be able to add it. The gunner rucksack was old and in my eyes looked like dog shit compared to rest of the model. If we do ever bring it back, it will just have one color variant, I dont see it as worth it to add multiple.

@razorscleo89 Ok Im confused, which NVG do you mean, HECU or BO? Because BO NVG already has red lenses unless you have some reskin going on and red lenses wouldnt fit HECU. And about the grenades and turned off BO NVG, maybe.

Oh and one more question, if the plan to restore the rucksack with the tripod is applied, will there be a possibility of the tripod having a skin that is dark gray like the hecu models in HLOF?

@DWBoyGamer hello a question if there are plans to restore the rucksack with the 50cal tripod, So will the grenadier rucksack be removed? or will it be kept with the other bodygroups in the rucksack now with the 50cal tripod backpack as the new bodygroup of the rucksack ?

@DWBoyGamer Yeah, and You wouldn't even need to do much too. Basically it's like I said before, All You'd need is to make a Red Version of Your NVG lens glow texture, and that's about it. I was also wondering if You guys did go and tweak the Male and Female Assassins, could You also do that trick You did for the HECU NVGs for the Assassin raised NVGS being turned off too? (That was a pretty neat trick darkening the raised versions lenses) and give the grenades the yellow warning band on their Mk2's as well?

And about the same time the BMCER got updated and I saw the new Black Assassin Gear, very fitting! (The only thing that could make it better would be a proper glowing lens texture)

@razorscleo89 Classic style HECU sleeve patch and biker are not planned, not even as optional download since they require model to be replaced and I have no interest in maintaining optional models (also I just really dislike that glove design). I dont think we will be reworking the pouches to that extent either, while its entirely possible replacing them would require so much work that Im not sure its worth the effort. HECUR zombie doesnt have mutated leg anymore. The issue with extensive mutations like that is that even though they look cool it makes the zombie look like it has been in that state for a long time, despite the game taking place only in the span of few days. For that reason we prioritized making the zombies both in HECUR and BMCER to actually look like they turned fairly recently.

And My final question for today, the thought crossed My mind, so You know how the default BMS HECU Zombie has that mutated foot bursting though the boot? does the HECUR Zombie have that or is it still similar to the Black Mesa Blue Shift Maintenance Zombies? (With the boot having that slapped together skeleton bone poking out look)
