@cowsarenottoys I, too, seem to have this issue. I used a breakthrough pill, and even the debug menu, and neither worked.

Is there something I'm missing about breakthroughs? None of my pawns have been able to break through from qi refinement, even with 88% chance and 10+ attempts. I tried filling up the inner cauldron just in case that was it, but it doesn't seem to have helped

For some reason, my Cultivation Schedule menu has each of my cultivating units twice (though editing one entry edits the other). I am uncertain where the conflict is (no errors I can find) so I wanted to check if you had any ideas.

Thank you for the mod, I'll be using it regardless.

would be cool if only condensed qi could be used to infuse an item, and it doesn't change the item, just adds a modifier for the qi on it

would be cool if you can infuse qi into any inanimate object that produces elemental energy, like a stack of gold, up to the limit of how much element they produce, allowing them to produce qi in a radius depending on how much qi is in the stack, depleting as it goes outward. Much like the spirit stones and stone essence

So, how do i cultivate body strength and progress through it's realms, qi is fun and stuff but kinda useless, while body realm is good but in this version is impossible to progress

Came across a stutter bug. I was placing Fire Essence Bars for a cultivation room and it shredded my performance, game stutters every few seconds. Dev mode destroyed the fire essence bars and stutter fixed.

@EvilNecroid At the bottom right where you got different filter options etc there should be two options for seeing those things when you hold your mouse near an area.

Is there a way to add specific hediff that should be healed when a pawn gets deaged?

How exactly does Lifespawn work in this version of the mod?
I see abilities that cost lifespawn but nothing that would give a pawn an increase.

In the old, simple version all i had to do was give "Lifespanfactor" to the cultivation
hediff and the mod became useable even with faster aging pawns (20x).

I assume that even at basic cultivation pawns get more than the standard 80 years?

i went through the mod log it seems that this mod is strictly incompatible with the kijin race 3.0 mod in its current state as all the errors i had went away among removing that mod just thought id let you know. i don't expect you to fix this as it's not your mod. :)

Hello! I know Body Cultivation is WIP and understand if it is not done. But, I was wondering if there is a way to increase True Qi other than consuming things like Spirit Stones? It doesn't regen on its own, and you can't gather qi. Also, Cultivation speed is quite slow, what does increase it, if anything that has been implemented or not yet.

On another note, on essence cultivation as well I did not get Techniques all the way to Golden Core, am I missing a part of UI to learn techniques? (I know of the tab in Dao, but it shows empty), or maybe I need to go out and find things?

Really enjoying the mod btw! As a fan of ACS I often did consider how its features could be added to Rimworld, and this is shaping up to be a very elegant addition.

i dint know if my other mods are interfering but when i try to learn another cultivation law beyond the three i start with, with the cultivation law manual it just causes all the known laws i have to disappear from the list making it impossible to chose one for my cultivator

did a quick bugfix for cultivator time schedule on old saves, please report any bugs you see on here or the discord and ill fix them asap but while I have no reported bugs to fix I'll be working on the body cultivation update.

I did a quick update a few mins ago fixing the inner cauldron auto cultivation thing. I thought I fixed it last update but it was only anima conversion that was tested. I'll fix the other bugs later tonight.

Working on a bugfix for the inner cauldron time schedule and the cultivation spot / qi cushion ownership right now, should be done tonight. Please report any bugs you see I'll try to get them fixed asap.

to be more specific one of the big issues I had was that when selecting the new auto mode you added and queing them to focus on inner cauldron just like all the previous updates it still only gathers qi nothing else it does not improve inner cauldron ever

im getting started on the body cultivation update now. I'm splitting it into two parts so that the latter update can be focused on the randomly generated secret bodies which will be the body cultivators version of techniques.

golden core breakthroughs, max realm progress, and most other bugs are now fixed. im uploading the update tonight but theres going to be a few more bugfix updates before work starts on body cultivation to make sure the mod is playable/working.

I'm also noticing that setting a colonist to auto-cultivate inner cauldron just gets a loop of gathering qi instead (tested across multiple colonists with empty through full qi pools). Manual auto-cultivate still works fine!

I was having the golden core breakthrough issue as well, nothing in the logs about it but it would never finish or drain QI. Using god mode to delete the QI pool from the pawn let the break through finish then I re-added the QI pool hediff, I can't tell if it broke anything.

Thank you so much for making this mod! Have for so long been wanting a cultivation simulator in Rimworld.

Apart from "Cultivator of the Rim", do you have some more recommendations of cultivation and xianxia related mods? One that allows for other factions to have rival sects too would be cool.

The pawns QI also seems to not go down, Could probably be some sort of mod conflict.
If I remove the "Golden core breakthrough" health effect with the character editor the breakthrough seems to work, giving the pawn a golden core, yea.

Is the golden core breakthrough supposed to be done over and over again? the bar seems to fill over and over again, and nothing seams to happen? I have them completely maxed out on possible QI with the inner cauldron also maxed out. not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong..

Haha! Yeah! I apologize, that came out a bit more rough than I intended it to be. I just remember being reminded constantly in the early game discord that the inner cauldron is something you should worry about cultivating for later generation disciples, as it is designed to take years to get anywhere useful without extensive use of pills and body remolding spells that only Primordial Spirits have access too. Not at all conducive to impatient new players to the game! lol

Bout to try and get a game going and see how this mod works properly. Can't wait for the next patch!

Wait...in response to SariusSkelrets, is there no Red Ginseng or Earth Flux equivalent in this mod? I am trying to shift back to Rimworld from ACS, but if the only way to prepare for a GC breakthrough is cultivating one's inner cauldron to completion, I think I will go back to ACS and write a guide specifically on all the ways one can raise their max Qi! Might even figure out the tier 0 GC they keep hinting at...

It seems to me like the cultivators on an inner cauldron auto cultivation type gather qi even when full without ever refining inner cauldron qi without manually pressing the button.
