@GBGAMEZONE Thanks for catching that. Not sure why, but I had disabled the Dryad's shop changesin a previous patch. Should be available now, with the new update I just pushed. (v1.47)

Seems I removed the mana cap change in a previous update, I just never remembered to change the mod description. Sorry about that!

Don't ask me why I removed it, I don't remember, may have been more trouble than it was worth, or I thought like you and felt it was a bit OP :P

What I'm saying is... I personally really want new food. But I do NOT want mana cap removed, it breaks balance for me. So because of that - I cannot enjoy the mod. I think you should do one thing: A) Make an option to remove the cap or not; or B) re-do the mana-based buffs to consider 200 as a max, even if other mods increase the cap higher.
This is just my thought though. I'm sure a lot of other people enjoy the mod!

Some food gives buffs based on your stats. Mana being one of them.
There are mods already remove the cap for 400 mana (from buffs/armors etc), this change was made to allow for compatibility with said mods.

You're right, I should continue to expand upon the food as well.
Your mod adds food. You should add food. Expand upon it. Why would you mess with mana?

Yeah @HomelessMan, I had given all enemies immunity to debuffs, so that those applied by the food buffs could hit bosses, etc...

It seem some modded enemies like to apply debuffs onto themselves for certain actions.
Which causes issues. The next patch will change that, I'm looking into changing that now.

May need to restart your tmodloader to get it however.
I only fixed the Eridanus time freezing attack, I am still looking into NPCs drowning in space (lol... not sure where to start with this on)

@Scriptor It was Eridanus. It's a pretty late game boss (post moon lord). O think you can speedrun the game in journey mode to reach him without much trouble

Not sure why it would causing some issues, so I'll need time to recreate the issue and figure it out.

I don't know if someone else mentioned it, but I tried this mod with fargo's soul a while back and it broke some stuff. The only problems I encountered were NPCs drowning in the space layer while eternity mode is active (didn't happen when I turned the mod off), and one of the bosses kept freezing and unfreezing time during the timefreeze attack (normally it pauses time for a few seconds, summons some knives and then unfreezes time, but in this case it kept doing it for a long time while barely summoning knives)

alright thanks for saying your going try separate, and a collaboration is a good idea, but if your not working on the project right now. you will need to remind me in the future, but that also means I will maybe change my agreement for the collaboration in the future as well.

@kaboomit25 lol No problem. Your art is better, but Ill try and keep my abilities/foods separate from yours. If I start up the project again and expand on it, then eventually we could even consider merging/collaborating if that would interest you.

Hmm, the Recipe Browser mod should work.
At the top right of the recipe browser, there should be the letter M which you can left click to cycle through seeing the recipes of specific mods. Switching to CookingExpanded should work.

Hello! My gf and I are really loving this mod but we were wondering if there is a way to get a list of all the recipes available? We tried the recipe browser mod but it doesnt show all :C

Thanks for the testing, I noticed an issue with the creation of the new hit effect, I've instead changed the effect to buff crit damage by 10% rather than spawn a new strike/hit effect. Should be more stable, let me know.

i have not had the issue with gel o, nut meal, stewed eerie meat, shiverthorn, sweet potato, blinkroot or pea soup. i havend made the others yet to confirm or deny at least if its specifically this

Also, could you also list the CookingExpanded buffs you had on at the time of the crash? With the port to 1.4.4, some of the buffs have become... less than stable. I am figuring it could be one or two buffs that need to be tweaked.

Hey,

I have 32gb
I tried running terraria, tmodloader run bat and steam as administrator and none worked

I also checked task manager when opened in another monitor and I didnt see any memory spikes during the crash
I think you are right about the buffs and the memory, I enabled cooking but disabled qol and lan and it didnt crash because i had fewer buffs, but once I enabled them again it crashed again
Could be a conflict with the qol mod but it was working before and thinking now the crashes started only right after i started using more buffs (its 11 buffs from cooking mod alone, few more from vanilla)
The features in the qol mod is the potion bag and unlimited duration

I've been doing a quick google search about this, seems to be a out of memory error. I didn't think CookingExpanded was so memory intensive, but I suppose it's possible with how many ticks its running on. How many GBs of RAM do you have?

In any case, could you try this proposed solution:

- Terraria.exe ('Browse local files' on Steam), right-click -> Properties -> Compatibility tab -> Tick the checkbox labelled 'Run this program as an administrator'. Let me know how it goes.

Hi, erm..I am having troubles with the mod. It was working fine up until few weeks ago but now everytime i play it i get .net errors and the game crashes.
The error was: " A New Guard Page for the Stack Cannot Be Created "
I was also playing with QOL mod and Lans Unlimited buff, so I had a few cooking buffs enabled at the same time, dont know if somehow it overwhelms anything and make it crash
I checked everyone of my mods by disabling and enabling and I found that this mod was the issue, so I am here letting you know that, and asking for a possible fix/help if you can reproduce that, of course

btw, I checked the latest comments and I dont use fargos mutant mod, so that cant be it

@DragoWings take a look at the chads furniture and terrarchitect mods, both add tons of furniture and i believe both add kitchen stuff too just not working functionally most of it

I wanted to create multiple stations, similar to an actual kitchen, but I always had issues with the sprites, they would never display correctly, and when broken, they would drop the item for each title. So a 2x2x1 for example, when broken would drop 2 of the items instead of just the one. I then decided to just focus on making the passives, eventually stations and proper sprites for the food.

Look what I found! Any chances this mod have any cooking related furnitures/working stations? I always thought cooking pot alone is kinda bad for design. I m building a kitchen for sanji the cook from the one piece mod.

Pushed an update, attempting to fix Shiverthorn and Braised Rib (completely changed the buff to a damage over time effect, sorry, the defense always stacks indefinitely per enemy, I can't reset it after the debuff ends) Let me know how it goes for you.

did another fight to test its effectiveness and it cut my fight with cryogen from calamity down to a quarter of the time, i think the issue i said was the shiverthorn may have been the ribs instead but ill have to test against that boss again later

so that cap at 0 defense probably isnt working and its stacking far faster then its listed amount

also found through some testing just now the braised ribs result in an exponential increase in damage. fought a boss with it then without it to find my damage in the hundreds without and upper thousands with

i think the shiverthorn slush is completely busted, im one shotting some bosses with its recoil so id say it either needs to not work on bosses or have a cap to how much it can reflect. a boss from secrets of the shadows with 15k hp was instantly killed thanks to its insane damage and several bosses from calamity got wrecked by it too

After diableing Cooking Expanded the game doesn't crash anymore. or at least it didn't crash after mining for half a small world. I will test how many mods it crashes with or if it is strictly Cooking Expd.
