@push1988 There's been an issue since like September 2023 where you have to do a workaround to make your saves load and Flaming Fowl doesn't seem to care to fix it. Here's fix from Gloomhaven Digital Discord #modding:

I am trying to figure out what could be causing this: I start a modded run, everything works fine, I can complete scenarios.But once I exit the game and back in, it does not show load options at all, just 'new campaign' option (all this in the modding section in my ruleset). I tried creating new rulesets, but did not help, neither did recompiling. It seems the save files created have different naming convention or something? not sure, does anyone know?

It doesn't look like the two patches from the last week have broken anything significant, please post here if you see anything wonky.

Highly unlikely, as the original devs are no longer working on the game, and it looks like the current "devs" are only interested in pushing the game to consoles for $$$.

Yeah, it loaded just fine. I had checked because I saw the comments, but (at least with the starting cast) it all seems to be working fine outside of crag.

Guildmaster has been broken since sometime last year when something on the dev side broke a lot of mods. I'm surprised it loaded for you at all. I'll take a look when I get some free time.

Just a head's up. I started Guildmaster mode with this mod and an item rebalance mod (so shouldn't be any mod conflicts), but the Cragheart has some inconsistencies with what's listed on his page. Specifically Unstable Upheaval is still "damage allies, shield 2" and Nature's Lift is still "consume air". The other starting cards are reflecting their listed changes correctly, though.

I think the recent update broke the mod. I played last night fine, but today after the update I keep getting error.

Trying to validate mod gives error:

hmm, @stouffer, thanks for looking into it. Its a modded campaign. I'm on Open Beta if that's perhaps different? I get "an error occurred within one of the Rule Libraries" error pop up as soon as i try to load the modded campaign?

@danboygomes Are you playing Campaign or Guildmaster? Campaign should work fine, I just started a new game with my mods and 5 other mods and everything loaded up fine. Guildmaster is still broken since December 21st? Devs haven't released a fix for it.

I think the recent update has broken the mod with the rule base change. Just flagging to check if you could update as i'm halfway through my modded campaign which i cant load for now.

Yes, it broke all modded Guildmaster. Campaign still works fine though. It's weird. Waiting on a developer fix which probably won't happen till after the holidays.

Speaking of the Energetic Derringer, after playing with the l'il 1 move/1 damage/1 health/3 range bot for a bit, we've decided he's really underwhelming especially when the mindthief summons are SO much stronger. Thematically, it feels like the Tinkerer should have the best summons of the starting characters.

@maxricpoe Fixed it. That Cragheart change is one of my favorites! Level 9 cards are supposed to make things go BOOM!

Hi Stouffer. Having the elementalist unlocked, i think that element infusion happens 2 times instead of 1. For example, card level 1 that heals and infuse element. This means that the system shows 2 times an element to be infused.

The level 9 card of the cragheart is bringing destruction like never! Monsters complain about it but i don't.

The comment below is using the ability rename mod, and is referencing the 'Energizing Tonic' card.

I clarified this on an individual class compilation, but I've found a good handful of VISUAL errors which I've posted one by one on each page. For example, you modified the move on mindthief's Plague Rat from 1 to 2. The card itself still lists a move speed of 1, but then highlighting the summoned creature after it appears shows the correctly-changed value.

I would like to try to add the solo scenario items! About 10 of the 17 are doable, but some of them have mechanics that aren't possible in the game. I have a suspicion that they will be added as a DLC at some point, so kind of hesitant to start on them.

After several hundred hours of staring at Notepad++ and trying to figure out how Gloomhaven coding works, this compilation is now complete! I'd like to thank everyone on Reddit and all the early downloaders of this mod. I would not have continued making this if you hadn't tried it. I have a few more mod ideas I want to try, but probably nothing as complex as this, so stay tuned to the Recent uploads page!

It shouldn't. These two I added didn't contain anything new other than text changes, so nothing SHOULD break. The only thing I can see happening is if you had a scenario currently in progress. Not really sure what would happen in that case.

Saw is a weird class, support classes always are, and I've been having trouble figuring out what to do with him. I have most of his cards mapped out, just need to get around to coding it. Two mini is by far my favorite class and I wanted to help him be more two mini instead of one mini and I'm having problems coding it. Triforce is done, been waiting to upload all three at the same time, but I've been on holiday. Sorry for the delay, I'll get back on it. :)

@Papa Steel I have some fantastic ideas, but the coding of the game won't allow them. XD Or I just don't how to implement it. Either way, not going to happen right now. I'll dig into it more over the weekend and see if I can nerf Disorienting Dirge somehow.

@Fernando47 If you can use a text editor like Notepad++, you can mod this game. It's not the most intuitive modding system ever. The hard part is just understanding the syntax and not getting errors every time you try to change a word. I use https://www.flamingfowlstudios.com/GloomhavenModding/docs-page.html to help myself out.
