Map is fun but cant actually finish a round when the static bases of US or UK spawn outside of map :(

balancing wise yes good idea for the gun being invulnerable but AIs are different then 5 nations and their balancing

with 2 AI extremes, we "could" go through the whole game with the side that has our gun sealed off and fight with an umbrella but the AI gets more resources and abilities to do things we cant and constantly nocking them off of it @ airbornes, motar, howitzer, etc they just refield it again

or in better words imagine that howitzer married together with 2 OKW extremes constantly spamming zero artillery barrage, american majors constantly pulling strings, british being british, etc etc

can you re_upload a version for comp stompers that dont want to deal with AIs on the howitzer? (making it not invulnerable or just removing both of them)

the AIs can be rediculous; so, id rather not deal with it

Yeah, you need to overlap them a little bit, otherwise they fall through the cracks. You also need to overlap the path blocking on the piers on the edges of the bridge, otherwise they also fall off the sides the same way.

Hi, really nice map, plays well and looks good, I have one question about the large bridges though, I know you used small rural piers to allow units to cross but did you overlap them at all? I'm having trouble creating the same effect, when units cross my versions of the bridges they fall below the wooden piers every few meters, did you have this issue?

Hopefully with the new modding tools someone will be able to make an infantry only mod that can be applied to all maps. I'm not sure how to go about doing it map specific. I've seen the scripts for it but never attempted it before.

Any chance of getting an infantry-only version? One, as the name implies, where you can only use infantry and light vehicles? Love this map so far.

@PureBunk: i solved the problem !!! :-), somebody with german tutorial have confused me with wrong facts. Now, i have found the right tutorial how to build und colorized. its completly another way...so..ich have the stone-cliff 01 too !!!!
But big thanks to you for helping me !!! ;-) - the map extraktor is already in downkload... think its a useful tool...Well done...all be fine .....now i can start to build.. :-) thx

Yeah, that texture exists. Not sure why you can't see it. There is stone_cliff_01 to 03. And are you sure you're clicking the Apply button so it stays? What I've always done when I saw something one a map that I wasn't sure how they got there, was to use the stamp tool and copy the item from their map to my map. If you don't know how to open someone elses map you just download it from the workshop and use something like this [www.coh2.org] map extractor to unpack it so you can open it. Do that with this map, copy the cliff to your map, and you will atleast have the texture. I'm not sure why your colour isn't working though, sorry.

@ PureBunk : are you sure, the texture named like stone_cliff_01 ?... cant found this texture, but another one. Well, problem is, i cant colorized the textures...'It seem like the programm wont apply the changes. (changed the color, it will be appeard, but the texture dont change the color.) hm..any idea ?? .. thx for help..

The cliff texture is in the stone_natural folder named stone_cliff_01. I've found this to be the best texture to use for cliffs. If you use the colorize button you can change the color of any of the textures.

Well ok, i understand your point of view but i must say: it's frustrating for us. Anyway keep creating good map like this and perhaps make some annihilation map.

I know people like to play the game in annihilation mode and have large battles, but I personally enjoy 1v1 victory point games. So I try to make my maps as close to "Relic standards" as possible. This means I try not to mess with the population cap on small maps. On larger maps I don't mind boosting it, but on this map it's not how I want to make it.

Thanks for the feedback. I've hopefully found all the problems the AI was having shooting at the ground and random objects and sitting idle. I've reduced the blur aswell. Population cap will remain at 100.

The AI captured the artillery position on its side and was using it to shoot the base of the cliff on its side near the bridge. Also it would leave tanks just sitting there idle in the middle of an open area. BTW I really like the map it just needs some slight adjustments.

yea to change the pop cap version would be realy nice! Minimum 150 and you dont need a new version , just update it in the workshop same way you upload it ( second time it says update instead of upload )PS. : You dont loose any members or Ranks, i did this also on maps.

Where is it shooting on the map? That just means I have an object accidentally set to "player x" instead of "world". If you could give me a general area I should be able to find it and fix it.

Needs the AI to work better. Keeps shooting the same map position with no targets. Also is there a way the fuzzy brightness could be turned down?

Also was voting now after my first Game on this Map , and realy like it :) Thats a realy nice map for 2 Friends to play. I just can say: "Download it , thats no misstake ,hehe" !!

Also: the mud/sand aspect of the map is also pretty cool. Give tank-hunters a good chance at taking those vehicles brave/stupid/desperate enough to traverse the difficult terrain.

I had a LOT of fun playing this map. The howitzers on each side add a nice tactical aspect to holding the bridges, and with the bridges being numerous enough and indestructible, those battles around them get intense.

In other words, props for a fun, well-balanced and interesting map. It is also nice to see a wasteland/desert map. Great job.
