The script runs on the server-side. client parameters are overriden. You must use the server side parameters.

Hi, I tried the client-side mod, but it doesn't let me change the settings. At least it works with the default settings, but it doesn't let me change some details that I'd like to implement.

it does work on multiplayer. if the bots don't get unlimited ammo for any reason, you can always toggle the mod off and on again and the script will rescan all the relevant bots in the current session and apply the mod.

Sorry for bad English. The question is - mission on the server, multiplayer. Will the mod work? I only need it for existing bots and those who will appear according to the script

@Artyom you can apply the mod to any player at any moment by using the mod's functions directly through the console.

Grenades that have been thrown using the ace advanced throwing doesn't regenerate them.

I've tested the mod in singleplayer, along with MMV, and I have found no bugs or script errors. It is working as intended. Please enable debug messages and post screenshots of any script errors or weird behavior.

Not sure if this mod is working. I can see it in the addon options but I still run out of magazines. I'm playing the Eastwinds campaign.

It will allow you to add infinite ammo to any vehicle. if you want only planes to have infinite ammo, you can do so. you can even set how much time it takes for a plane to reload its weapons

Suggestion 3rd option for filling a mag that is depleted to any degree but not completely, allowing you to reload without thinking like a real arcade shooter :)

Consider it: "On Reload" Mod behavior!

It was a sacrifice I had to make in order to make the mod modifiable on the fly. If you want to alter settings, play your scenario first. It won't show up in the Eden editor.

I've ran another battery of tests on singleplayer, LAN and hosted multiplayer and all features are working as intended, along with proper registration of the CBA settings menu. Unless it is an issue with dedicated servers. Please file a bug report containing all the details so I can reproduce the issue, including what kind of server you're playing on.

The mod has a valid key. If the mod doesn't works for any reason (scheduler desync/lag/script heavy missions or scenarios), toggle off/on the settings you wish to apply via the add-on settings. If the mod doesn't shows up in the mod settings at all, well, let me know.

trying to use this mod on my dedicated server but it doesn't seem to register at all? is this mod not keyed or smth?

@wangstage RIS is different because it firstly creates AI units then gives you control over it. Since the mod scans units on mission start, load and setting change, it has no way to know who you'll play as with RIS.

There's a workaround for such outlier that is RIS. If you want to only you to have infinite ammo (no infinite ammo for the AI), simply uncheck "Apply To: Players" then check it again. this will force a re-scan of the player list and apply the correct scripts.

It'll also possibly fix itself if you save and load the mission. I hope this helps.

I have found the cause of the issue. It was because I only selected the “Apply to” option for “Players” (my thinking was that the mod would only apply to players). However, in the RIS - Module mod, this does not work. You must also check the AI factions below (BLUFOE AI, OPFOR AI, INDFOR AI) for it to work. I’m not sure if this counts as a bug in the mod, but I’m sharing this feedback with you. Thank you very much for such a great mod.

@wangstage the "Unit does not have Event Handlers" info message is normal. It means the mod is trying to remove the event handler from a unit that does not have a event handler, this occurs when, for example, there's units in the redfor side and the redfor side is toggled off in the mod's settings. Due to how the mod works, it'll try to either Add or Remove the event handler from all units on mission start or load. These info messages can be safely ignored, and the presence of these messages indicate that Magic Mag is working.

Using only RIS and Magic Mag, RIS works well and I did not notice any bugs in either mod. You might have another mod that is conflicting with RIS. Try loading only RIS and Magic Mag, and see if those two work together. If they do, it's another mod conflict.

When I start it up, it displays a lot of [ ! ] MMI: Unit does not have Event Handlers - ignoring error messages, and then the module doesn’t work. Otherwise, everything else is fine. It’s just the RIS - Module mod that isn’t working. Could you please confirm if it’s the RIS - Module mod I linked? Thank you very much.

@wangstage thank you for your report. I've failed to reproduce the issue using RIS module. Mod is behaving as expected.

Check if magic mag's configurations are correct. Also, enable debug messages on the mod's settings and start a fresh new RIS mission. If you get no messages or lots of error messages (they start with "[ ! ] or [!!!]", let me know.

for the test, I used only RIS and the Magic Mag. I hope this helps.

@rautamiekka I had a new version in the works that was pretty much a rewrite. Unfortunately the source code was in a hard drive that failed, so now I'm salvaging the useable current code and creating an entirely new version.

is there a way to make unlimited ammo for emplacement and arty, tanks and guns for all sides? I see it quite boring when AI enemy attack and my machinegun gunner spray all the ammo and they didn't shoot anymore and AI when spending all ammo and they won't shoot anymore

Blu is blufor, NATO, USA and Britain and whatnot if you have cup. Ind is independant, like AAF, PMC, FIA, etc.
