The mod doesnt really work, at all. So many problems but seeing the last update was almost four years ago... i would consider this mod dead and unless someone can update it not worthy to use it.

Bug I noticed for the grooming station, if you rotate it the dupes won't use it.

I have the same bug as Matze, in the interaction of these two mods, would love a fix of course, but for sure I'm aware it's impossible to support every possible interaction.

Hi,

this mod seems to have some problem with the "Auto Change Wardrobe" mod.
Whenever I build that building, the game crashes, marking the Rotation mod as problem.
I also get the following exception:

Hi @Xengulai, I found an issue when flipping the petroleum generator: the position where the polluted water outputs doesn’t flip correctly.

Before flipping, the generator was oriented as XYZ, and the polluted water came out at Z. After flipping to ZYX, I expected the polluted water to still come out at Z, but it’s now coming out at X instead—so it looks like the output position didn’t flip as expected.

Could you help fix it? Thank you! :)

@Fox, 1.0.5 adds support for The Bionic Booster Pack

@Arxon, structures can either be rotated or mirrored, not both. I used my judgement to make that call on an item by item basis. Most object are just mirrored.

The new buildings added in the bionic DLC - is there any plan to update to allow these to be flipped? Such as the gunk extractor / lubrication station / Power bank charger etc.

@kuxynator, the original implementation of the mod only updated buildings to rotate, hence the name. Other buildings were later added that really only made sense to "flip" but the mod name was already in place. Spaced Out! and The Frosty Planet Pack buildings should now be supported.

@Nick, @MxCode, the latest update narrows my implementation of DirectionControl. This should be working with Auto Change Wardrobe now. If it still crashes, the author of that mod will need to update his code.

this mod mirrors, and does not rotate.
and btw 360° is a full rotation, so nothing changes ;-)
some buildings cannot be "rotated" its seems only vanilla buildings are supportet.
but otherwise a useful mod :-)

Hello Sir!

I am super lazy... And, in order to maximize my laziness I will put for some effort.
I want to create a mod to rotate buildings via [hold middle mouse+scroll wheel]. Holding middle mouse and scroll down for clockwise and conversely scroll up for counter-clockwise rotation.

I have the IDE and debugger installed but I am completely unfamiliar with modding. Any pointers or possibly what and where the values are I need to modify would be super appreciated.

This is entirely in the pursuit of laziness, one-handed gaming and not for mod glory. So, if you wanted to implement this yourself into your mod or make a stand alone yourself instead of sending me some info that would be fine too. No rush, I have already setup a macro for my mouse to send the "O" key while the middle mouse is held down. But, having to run it and stop is annoying and requires some minor effort I would like to completely eliminate.

Thanks for this mod and your time!

Thanks a lot for your mod, it is a must. i just want to report a bug on the interplanetary launcher. When rotate it conveyor rail crashes and shows as rail blocked.

Update would be great, especially since the other similar mod is much more out of date than this one. Being able to rotate ceiling lamps would also be awesome. Playing with a darkness mod as well would then allow us to make lights placed on the walls as opposed to just floors and ceilings.

duplicant access permissions are not working for mechanized airlocks that are rotated 180 degrees. and for 270 degrees the access permissions are flipped - if for 90 degrees left access corresponds to up, then for 270 left should be down to maintain rotational symmetry, but it's up.

It would really be nice if the activation cell of buildings like the pump also got flipped when rotating. You can flip a pump, but the cell of the pump that detects whether it's in liquid or not does not get flipped with it.

Found bug: The materials research terminal MODEL gets flipped end for end, but the intake for radbolts when "rotated" is still on the original, developer left-hand side

Something I did notice. When I flipped the grooming station, the dupes wouldn't use it. Couldn't figure out why they weren't working in that one room for long time. Put another grooming station in that wasn't flipped and they started working there right way. Not a big deal as the grooming station doesn't have any connectors, and flipping it was purely for aesthetic reasons.

@TheOriginalZodi I loaded an existing vanilla save with this mod installed after the Rocketry Renovation update and didn't have any problems. Also started a new Spaced Out game with this mod active without issues.
