Worked in 1.5, looks to still work in 1.6 as well.

I don't think I moved the files over since I moved to Linux. I might still be able to update but I don't know. Updating is just applying the 1.5 and 1.6 tags to the mod.

This is a pure single recipe that won't break basically ever.

The most ridiculous part of this, is that mortars dont use reinforced barrels, the use 2mm rolled welded sheet metal, literal stovepipes, because they are absurdly low pressure.

It's still going to work but I haven't launched 1.5. The reason it will work with all future versions is because the only way it can break is if Tynan changes the ID of Steel, machining tables, or reinforced barrels, or fundamentally changes the xml properties in which case most mods would break from such a minor change.

Well if you go into the workshop folder and go to the xml file its a quick change of numbers, I don't know C# so I can't add a mod settings. Easiest way to go to the folder should be an option in your mods list and you're looking for Recipes_Production, you've got <workAmount>30000</workAmount> and <count>200</count>

Yes I did, I restarted rimworld again and made a new workbench and it popped in.

I added this mid-save and I have restarted my game, made a new machining table and I do not have combat extended. I don't have an option to make the barrels. Is there anything else needed besides a machining table to make these?

For some reason this mod crashes the game for me. I'm confused as to why though, it shouldn't be that big of a change, right?

As a dear friend gifted me royalty and ideology ill be going through the wiki and adding more uncraftables from the expansions, and my own take on craftable Archotech/Ultratech stuff later. It's all going to get seperated into modules since theres already a lot of mods that expand on archotech and not everyone has the dlc's either.

Just what I was looking for. Thank you! It didn't sit right with me that colonists could build spaceships and bionic body parts but not a simple steel barrel.

Combat Extended still requires the barrels. Unless it's an issue with my load order.

@Shortbear Royalfox: if you guys do still want to keep the work speeds separate, Alias created the De-Generalize Work mod (compat w 1.2 1.3 etc) that re-separates the work types out again, as it used to be.

Technically it's incompatible because Combat Extended doesn't use barrels at all. :)

I'm switching it over to <workSpeedStat>GeneralLaborSpeed</workSpeedStat> since thats apparently what work type components are made with now.

I've been modding on and off since 1.0 and I sorta just picked it up by dissecting Defs from vanilla or other mods and pasting it over and changing variables. I didnt keep up much with the updates so I guess I have 60 something recipes to change over on my offline mod.

What mod does the smithing speed variable come from? that was removed from vanilla a while back
