Craftable Reinforced Barrels

Description
Reuploading of any of my mods to Nexus is forbidden. I wil take the necessary steps to have it removed from Nexus if it is reuploaded.

I made this so I could craft reinforced barrels at the machining table. It requires the Mortars tech and costs 200 steel, as well as 30,000 work. For context the charge rifle takes 45,000 work. Seems balanced enough to me.

You can change the balance very quickly by navigating to the folder and editing the def. The games mod menu lets you go to folder. I only plan on updating when the game does and only to switch version tags so your edit is safe until you reinstall the game or I have to update for the next major version.


Compatibility: It adds a single recipe to the machining table and changes nothing. It uses no assemblies. I'd be hard pressed to find a way this mod isn't compatible with everything on workshop.

Combat Extended Compatibility: Combat Extended doesn't use reinforced barrels.

Worked in 1.5, looks to still work in 1.6 as well.

I don't think I moved the files over since I moved to Linux. I might still be able to update but I don't know. Updating is just applying the 1.5 and 1.6 tags to the mod.

This is a pure single recipe that won't break basically ever.

The most ridiculous part of this, is that mortars dont use reinforced barrels, the use 2mm rolled welded sheet metal, literal stovepipes, because they are absurdly low pressure.

It's still going to work but I haven't launched 1.5. The reason it will work with all future versions is because the only way it can break is if Tynan changes the ID of Steel, machining tables, or reinforced barrels, or fundamentally changes the xml properties in which case most mods would break from such a minor change.
