Yeah, that's exactly what it should do: add upkeep for the upgrades--definitely the patrician choice.

My games crashe on turn 72, and i only have this mod installed. Do you know what could be causing this?

Not sure it was intended, but iron armor is 300% at 150gold, versus the original 50gold. For this highly used resource that is too high a premium.

I like the limits. They make the game more challenging. This is sort of like a cheat that pushes you towards gold collection. I could be wrong, but I won't be trying this one.

sadly the editor is not that detailed, its an easy to use editor, but very limited to what you can do

I can understand the idea behind the upkeep, but as is, you pay upkeep either if only 1 troop has the upgrade, or all your army. Can't you make it so the upkeep starts after a certain number of units have it? :)

Thanks for the quick answer. :)

yes this and monster resources work together... as for removing the extra cost, its not a huge cost bump but enough that you pick and choose who will get certain perks first before you can afford to give it to your entire army, so it adds a little strategy there... I like it better than having to search the map for another nevril source, then rush to build a city there

I agree with Hobophobe... and I have a question myself: Does this one work with your More Resources mod?

not sure how this mod effects the new Naga DLC

great!

Can you release a version without the additional costs / upkeep? There's no reason to aim for "balance" when you're fixing what was a stupid, unnecessary change in the first place.

Sounds good.
I'll try to test it ;-)
