Question, what are the exact mechanical effects of removing the city limit? Does it affect income, city growth penalties, potential unrest, or anything else significant? I think I'm stuck. I'm 30 hours into the Exiled campaign and I have basically cleared out both Ainadra and Ardania. My current quest is 'Reach the portal to Ainadra'. The quest description mentions the 4 mages which supposedly are in Ainadra and that it's more urgent than ever to reach that world. It says 'you'll receive the following reward:' - and nothing after that. I suppose my campaign is lost? It took so long to kill those 20 shadow dragons .......
