@Firefly, I'm not colorblind and i still think your mod should have been baked into the game on day 0. If i was colorblind i would say the game would be litteraly unplayable without your mod. The fact they used shades of yellow-orange-red to indicate status baffles me, it seems so stupidly obvious that its a crappy design. So yeah, not only mandatory,but absolute common sense to me, i wouldn't play without it!

@Firefly -- Well, here we are again after another update! Sorry they keep making the game more and more built out and forcing you to continue to make it awesome, but you are so appreciated Firefly. :)

Yes, Mod Options is only a soft requirement, and Mod Options itself should still work. ArmorGreen uses the ini setting by default, which adds an ini file to %LocalAppData%/MW5Mercs/Saved/Config/ArmorGreen.ini, you can adjust colors freely from there as long as you use the right syntax.

Do you ever wonder why the project is named ArmorGreen when the default color is Blue? I find it best to discard such thoughts.

Figures, they keep updating the dang function. I'll have to get around to it this weekend. I don't have as much time lately to do whatever I want. This will involve re-installing the whole mod tools. For now, just disable this mod.

unfortunately I'm getting a UI not found error when starting the game up with this mod after the dlc came out, shame of all the mods to stop working it was the most useful one

Been playing around with the custom color options in the .ini file and here is my favorite layout (and happens to be more colorblind friendly):

1:(R=1,G=1,B=1,A=1)
0.99:(R=1,G=1,B=0,A=1)
0.8:(R=1,G=0.66,B=0,A=1)
0.6:(R=1,G=0.33,B=0,A=1)
0.4:(R=1,G=0,B=0,A=1)
0.2:(R=0.66,G=0,B=0,A=1)
0.0:(R=0.33,G=0,B=0,A=1)

Starts yellow and progressively gets more orange until red at 40% HP, then the red continues to get darker as the part is closer to breaking. Has the nice effect of making it obvious when armor is about to break since the dark red begins blending with the black silhouette. Also when a structural component is severely damaged the darker color stands out a lot so you quickly know only 1-2 more good hits is needed until destruction.

ArmorGreen seems to break some kind of icon, creating a white square where that icon should be. This should just be a visual bug, meaning it's not urgent. I'll get around to fixing it this weekend.

This fantastic mod needs and update. Doesn't work in DLC5. Actually makes some mechs invulnerable and shots phase through them completely right now.

I really appreciate you making this mod. Seriously, the modified color scheme is perfect. I can keep track of my and my lance's status so much easier with four-stage colors for armor status.

@TwilightDusk Technically, it doesn't REQUIRE mod options, but I did a bad default so it won't read from ini unless you use it or manually edit Game.ini so it reads the ini. Uh, see a comment down below for how to do that. It's easier to say "requires mod options" and let end users figure it out from there.

My friend and I have an issue where we have all the same mods, but it works perfectly fine for me, but whenever my friend tries to load into a save, he crashes.

Why would he be having issues and I don't when we are using the same mods and such?
