We used to have them spawn in lockers as loot to use/breakdown but that was before the Player Team and Team 2 split was implemented
When a headset is spawned it is assigned Player Team which is obvious or Team 2 which is used for PVP or pirates. It used to be ALL headsets were on the same series of channels which meant you would always hear pirates on channel 1 when their sub got close.
If you craft a headset it always spawns as your team I.E. Player 2. Bought headsets are supposed to always spawn as Player Team as well and any Console spawned headsets spawned on cursor/ground will be Team 2 and any spawned directly into Inventory will be the team of that character.
Whats happening is due to lag (CPU in this case) or tick loss (performance fix) the ordered headsets are being spawned unto your sub and being assigned the wrong team.
Switching it out for a different one fixes it but it's weird since all 6 of these walkies I bought from the same merchant at the same time earlier today and only 2 of them bugged out immediately?

Barotrauma and Dynamic Europa are XML mods. You might have to redock and rebuy your turrets to solve whatever bug you are having. Also I have a Turret mod on the workshop if you want even more turret options.
Only major mod tested with this one is Dynamic Europa and More Level Content.

But honestly, I think the muffling effect itself is pretty weak anyway. That’s just my opinion though.
