I am unfamiliar with porting a map to gmod however all the custom assets are packed into the .bsp so it should be as simple as dragging and dropping the bsp into the maps folder, the issue would be that the stock assets aren't all in gmod, this is an old version of watermine compared with the one on potato, i'm waiting on some stuff before i re-upload the newer version

I would LOVE if this map was ported to GMod or something for filming/screenshots. I absolutely love the mining theme in effect here it's so dang good.

depends on the mission made for it, i enjoy all difficulty's mission wise. sorry i couldn't give a more definite answer, as long as players have fun that's all that matters to me.

watermine has been updated, in order to get the map to work again you will need to re-download the maps nav and pops as well as the bsp if you used the map download link last time, a new mission has been made for watermine, this was made by a+drew, it is included in both download links, have fun!

@hell-met so i went in to the editor, the trigger hurt is solid inside the water, the only issue i could think of is the damage type which is FALL, would that cause issues? the engi hints are in hand, will remove the spy spawns soon

@wooper i tested your wave, the first wave hangs on the kgb heavy's because the max-active is set to 4 and the support soldiers spawn instantly in 4s blocking the heavy's from spawning until the map is clear which it never is increase the max active on the kgb heavy's to at-least 5 as for the 2nd wave i believe the issue was an insufficient quantity of spawn points, the spawns are being reworked for the next update so ill keep you posted when that is hopefully fixed (:

some more bugs
-water is still not convered well enough with trigger_hurt
-map has no engineer robot hints
-spawnbot_left and spawnbot_right are too close to wall/floor and are trouble functioning properly, move them away from surfaces a bit
-you dont need special spawns for spies, MvM handles that automatically

if you keep updating the map with the same name, its going to constantly prevent people from joining

you need to use labels such as a1, b1, rc1, etc

there doesn't seem to be anything in the console, the robots just sometimes stop spawning for no reason, maybe one of the spawn points doesn't work or isn't set correctly?

iv had that happen with my wave before, check the console, if there are errors send a copy of the console text to me as a lot of them are just inherent to source (thanks source spaghetti) and i could parse if something is wrong. if the issue is map geo there will probably be unusual errors, if not there may be something in the pop file that's miss-typed, no shade if so as that happened to me all the time (thanks dyslexia) the last cause may be that your trying to spawn giants in a small spawn, the only spawn that can handle giants is called spawn-bot_front any other spawns are likely to cause issues, hope this helped, thanks for caring enough to try to make stuff for my map :D

i'm using a custom wave i made, and there are times where the spawn works fine but sometimes robots just don't spawn at all (they don't get stuck). it only seems to happen for spawnbot_left and spawnbot_front, changing it to spawnbot or spawnbot_right makes it work fine.

hrm, i tested it to the point that it was working consistently, at least on my end. is this a custom wave or the pre-made one i uploaded? i found code errors can cause hangs in mvm whist seeming to work fine at first.

there seems to be some issues with the spawns, sometimes robots don't spawn and the wave gets softlocked, i've seen it happen with spawnbot_front and spawnbot_left

the name of the spawn used for giants is spawnbot_front there designed to fit in that one, hope that helps

fixed the screenshot and trigger hurts just now funnily enough, the spawns are designed around giants only using one of the re-spawn types to avoid issues, ill look up the name of that spawn for your convenience. would love an example of bad clipping, hard to fix when i don't know what i'm looking for, thanks in advance (:

glad you like the map (: i agree the mission isn't great as i learned how to make pop files specifically for it to make joke waves for my friends and am not great at code in general, would be neat if you could share the wave file, not sure how to do so on the workshop though...
