It's almost always been non-optimal unfortunately. That's your standard randomized new world is the trade zone paths sometimes make some really weird connections between continents, like two nearby continents might not share trade but a distant one does.
I believe that @Polandow was saying the same thing a few pages back in the comments.
Mod would be wonderful if this was fixed.

1.mod为了让保证玩家能破局,太大的国家一些土地会被以下势力分走,第一种是国内的阶层产生的国家,第二种是原本不存在的土著tag,剩下的会被第三种已存在的土著分走,尤卡坦就是因为土地被纳瓦特尔信仰土著拿走,可是土地太多会天天末日值爆炸导致永远升不了科技所以给了尤卡坦。
2.有教程修正的国家都是可以当朝贡国的,原本是用来破局或者当boss挑战用的,所以打不过学棒子当狗(朝贡)是最简单的方法,有人打你就叫主人来救你吧。
Every merchant steering trade multiplies the value of that trade as it leaves their node. But to make this work optimally you need both
1) Many, many merchants, which you get from setting up colonial nations and trade companies everywhere possible.
2) Total control of both your home node and its feeder nodes. This is best accomplished by conquering 100% of their provinces.
this doesn't cause any errors but is very annoying
Trading is not working very well, can you somehow fix it?
I played MP with this mod and they complained about it
