i imagine that, they could use xml instead of xr, same time to read data, anyway, thanks again :) i also will try to play with graphic editor so we will see what i can do

It would be in the xr for the corresponding mod. Not in a pack file.

Did you convert the xml file back to xr?

i started yesterday with xml, creating my own hero. but have same issu like Trudemur. hero was counted in 5.
thanks for an answer, one more question if you dont mind. in this location moded file is in pack ? or stand alone file ? because i found my hero in stand alone rx or xml, changed counting from 5 to 1, and that didnt fix anything

They are stored at this location, or something similar.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<YourIDHere>\205990\local\mods

Though it's a lot easier to just use the ingame UI to interact with them, unless of course you're getting into xml modding.

ok after contacting with support, i was manage to instal game here... i have a question if you dont mind. where i can find installed mod ? or created one ?

damn, seems i have to, already have warlock 1 on steam, anyway this copy was from sale, at least i payed 10 euro with dlc's instead of 25. anyway, thanks i will check what i can do to register my copy on steam.

Considering modding for Warlock 2 pretty much requires Steam, wouldn't likely work well.

IIRC Warlock 2 itself also requires Steam, which does make me a little suspicious of you. If you actually have a legitamate copy that you can't register on Steam, contact Steam support and they would likely help you get it registered.

i have some games that im not able to add to steam, all from polish store site (muve.pl) thats a proof that i dont use pirate version :) anyway, is there any way to get your mod ? could you upload it somewhere ? so ppl like me that are using different platforms, could play your mod ?

Oh yeah, I also changed the <s_formationName> to Giants, as that centers the unit on the tile.

In the mods viewdata.xml it has a <i_figureCount> in there, for each unit. I just changed that to 1. As well as changing the <f_scale> for each unit, as typically they are a little small.

This thread has an easy way to convert the .xr files to .xml, if needed. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

Hello, I've a question for ya. How did you get the minotaur and polar giant all by themselves? Whenever I try and make a hero out of either of them they are in a "pack" with others like the default units.

thanks for the reply and yea those frost giants are scary epic had one come at me, PS i love the Archlich, i got a idea on that why not make a unique hero after some of the old ones such as the witch queen i think shes called in majesty 1

Chronoreaper, no none of them are custom (I have no idea how to make them), though there are a few that are not included with normal lords.

No it does not overwrite anything.I have personally seen the original lords, however fairly rarely. I assume this is because my lords outnumber the originals so they get picked more often.

I have been playing with this mod for a bit now, I have seen lots of the new lords, but none of the original.... does this mod overide the vanilla lords, or do they all have a chance to appear?

I somewhat dread the sounds issue being fixed as I will probably have to manually connect the sounds to the units with xml, but it will be worth it.

Presently the in-game editor seems to break the "parenting" of sounds from inheriting when you edit an existing unit. Hopefully that will be fixed soon, then they should have thier default sounds at least.
