That all being said, I'm considering adding a second "arcade" version of the mod with raised spawn rates, if that's something that appeals to you. If the Matilda were just as common as the vanilla 9mm pistol, would that feel about right to you?
There's also always the option to increase firearm spawn rates in your sandbox world or spawn the gun in via dev tools/cheats if you want to play with it right away.

Better yet, .223 is relegated to being pipe bomb making ammo because the sniper is kind terrible.
You didn't just give 9mm a new purpose, you made a gun that's well balanced and honestly fits the game without breaking game play.
Though, I don't really have any ideas for further mods at the moment. Might return at some point though.

I do remember trying a bunch of different hand placements, and just settling for one that seemed alright. The pistol has a bit of a funky shape for the zomboid square hands.
