H&K VP70

Description
Compatible with both build 41 and build 42

This mod adds the H&K VP70 (also known as the Matilda in the Resident Evil franchise), as well as its iconic stock.

The stock in real life allows the pistol to be shot in 3 shot burst mode, however in-game, the stock grants the weapon the ability to be shot more rapidly, further and more accurately. The gun has unique stats, model and sound.

The pistol, stock, magazines and gun case are just a little bit rarer than the vanilla M9 and 1911 counterparts, however don't rely on finding them in suburban areas. The magazines are loaded in vanilla 9mm.

This mod was balanced according to vanilla weapon balancing.

Any questions and feedback about problems or otherwise are welcome!

Balancing droprates is always tricky, and I admit I'm still not sure I got it right. It's true that the gun is quite rare, but in my defense, the mod is balanced around vanilla and "realism," where I feel I'd rather not hijack like-minded players' experience by placing the weapon in spots that wouldn’t make much sense. In gun stores and military areas, the gun is about as common as the vanilla Desert Eagle.

That all being said, I'm considering adding a second "arcade" version of the mod with raised spawn rates, if that's something that appeals to you. If the Matilda were just as common as the vanilla 9mm pistol, would that feel about right to you?

There's also always the option to increase firearm spawn rates in your sandbox world or spawn the gun in via dev tools/cheats if you want to play with it right away.

Thanks for the feedback.

Jesus. I will never understand people who make a mod for weapons and shove it into the very ass of the world, just so the player does not get it. The author of the mod did not think that I want to download it to play, and not to look for this fucking Matilda for several hours of game time. Why did they make it so rare, what is the point?

You're truly amazing! Thank you so much. I'll be testing it out on the B42. If I find anything wrong, I'll let you know.

Wasn't too bad! Should be working fine with B42 now. There's a known problem of gun cases and ammo cases being empty when you find them but im 90% sure it's a vanilla bug. If you run into any other problems, I'd appreciate if you let me know!

That would be amazing, I would love to be able to use it on the B42, it's one of my favorite mods.
I hope it's simple

@Hernansson I just might. I'll look into it and see how much work that'll take

Are you planning on updating this mod for the 42? That would be awesome.
