Reminds me of a rabbit version of Anthoney Hopkins in Silence of The Lambs, you could make a backstory about how he was the smartest of the Bunnymen but was exiled for murdering and eating his fellow rabbit.

Can he eat monster meat? People never seem to include anything about monster meat in their mod descriptions...

shouldn't the cannibal bunny be treated as a friendly by the bunnymen in the caves unless e attacks them? I mean, I attack a pig and after I get a certain distance it leaves me alone, so could the bunnymen essentially behave the same way toward the cannibal rabbit?

i dont think cannibal means= Eat meat only OM NOM NOM NOM
it means to eat the meat of your same species (exampile= Human eats human stew or something like that)

so i could be an omnivore AND a cannibal
you could use that to your advantage though *hint *hint (meaning you could create rabbit recipes like rabbit morsel, carrots, and something else to create a very fullfilling meal for Whiskers)
P.S. the mod does like pretty nice, and i wouldn't mind playing as him on the multiplayer for dont starve thats coming out :)

I actually would have liked to play a vegetarian character. There are already plenty of characters who only eat meat.

He had original dialogue, but I lost it, will have to remake it.

I also like Gumball Watterson's idea! Or a custom dialog when murdering a rabbit/bunnyman: "Sweet, sweet rabbit meat!" "Die, furball!"

I love this character! He has so much potential but I feel like he needs a few more tweaks to give him "character" if you will. Ideas (I don't mod so I have NO clue how these could be implemented): sanity gain for murdering rabbits--to enhance the "cannibal" idea, the ability to eat carrots but at the cost of sanity, slight sanity loss/gain around carrots/rabbits, something special with bunny puffs like when W-robot eats gears or a temporary buff, something special with the rabbit earmuffs (like additional sanity gain similar to garland hat), resistance to cold in winter but gets more overheated in summer (from the fur)...

I don't suggest ALL of those tweaks, but maybe one or two will suit your fancy and be fairly simple to implement? Thanks for this mod!

@Princess Unikitty i had another idea for Whiskers, when he eats carrots he gets 5 santy but he loses only 1 health when he eats carrots and sometimes he say "Yuck! i did rather have Bunnymen longs!"

Can you help me? Whenever I use the mod and I turn to Whiskers in character select, the game crashes. I'm not sure why, but tell me if you have any advice.

cool mod. but you mixed up cannibal with carnivore. a cannibal can still eat vegitables.
also a cannibal is someone or something that eats members of the same species.
it says nothing about what they do not eat.

So don't count on anything but I might look into finding out how to make a Rabbit Transform into something when his sanity is low :3
If I do come up with something useful I'll let ya know! a homicidal rabbit that turns into a Mustachio'd monster when he goes insane would be positively marvelous xD~

And I fully agree, it would be a pain to only eat rabbits. But if
you have ever researched cannibal animals, they rarely eat ONLY their own species.
It simply means they Also eat their own kind. So in reality, he's a cannibal just being in the game able to eat rabbits.

But think of it, only being able to eat rabbits would be a pain in the ass. He would have to have some kind of advantage over the other charachters for it to be balanced if that was the case.

To people who don't have the Reign of the Giants DLC, tell me if this still works for you. If it does, tell me if he can eat non-meat food.

It should work with or without it! ... Though I have an update that might not make it work without the DLC.
