I tried other similar mods and they didn't work, but this mod finally works. Thank you.
P.S. Is there a mod that would also increase the energy for friendly NPCs?

After i leave my comment i started to check this mod, and i apparently fix the issue. Is related to the forced spawn to the members to reach you. Or proably the message of them trying to say "i can't reach you" (Since u configured to block those words). They don't die anymore after i deleted some lines of the mod.

Not too surprised in all honesty, as far as crew mods go, this mod has basically become obsolete and doesn't play too nicely with things like CC+ from what I have tried, might consider removing this mod at some point to save people the headache

I found an issue, when u are in a top where the crew can't reach if you wait a few second they instantly die and respawn near of u. But sometimes they die forever until you go to the ship.

I hope this mod can work with Earth's Finest - Crew Improvements, Smart Crew and Crew Customization :)

Most i want to see my crew making more damage, since the actual mods help with every step, but damage and defenses still bad.

well, it was less the fact that they were nerfed and more the fact that I had to reduce the buffs...

looking through the files of this mod, I've noticed that it doesn't do any patching to the files it changes, rather it overwrites them. that's an incompatibility bug waiting to happen there. I'd suggesting using something like the patcher over in this site here: http://helmet.kafuka.org/sbmods/json/
you just put the vanilla json in "source data" and your current overwriting code in "patch" and hit the diff button

The main reason the crew is so strong is for people who play alone, play with difficulty mods, those who play mods like frackin or extended story, don't have crew size/follower size increases, or all of the above.

Can you do a version that just raises their energy a bit, mainly want it just to solve the current issue with Crew Customization+ where the crew all only have 10 energy no matter what armour I give them.
If you could do a version of this just to alter their energy so, when combined with CC+, the crew have say 100 energy.
This would be a good quick fix, given the CC+ author is unsure as to what the problem is with their end currently.

Don't see why it wouldn't, it's just an altercation of base game files, If frackin adds or changes anything, it should overwrite the changes this mod makes

If you haven't tried this:
Try messing with the "ranged.behavior" file, specifically the values inside "parameters" at the top, like "maxFireTime" so that they quickly stop firing and re-aim.
File is at "/behaviors/npc/combat".
Haven't played with them myself though.
