P.S. Is there a mod that would also increase the energy for friendly NPCs?
Most i want to see my crew making more damage, since the actual mods help with every step, but damage and defenses still bad.

you just put the vanilla json in "source data" and your current overwriting code in "patch" and hit the diff button
If you could do a version of this just to alter their energy so, when combined with CC+, the crew have say 100 energy.
This would be a good quick fix, given the CC+ author is unsure as to what the problem is with their end currently.
Try messing with the "ranged.behavior" file, specifically the values inside "parameters" at the top, like "maxFireTime" so that they quickly stop firing and re-aim.
File is at "/behaviors/npc/combat".
Haven't played with them myself though.
