@Faelien I just tried spawning it in Vanilla, both in creative and survival, no forbidden blocks anymore, It might have been the quantum cores. Anyway, It works in vanilla, you might have to go to the statistic page in P-menu and turn down the roll a little, It's very agile in vanilla.

Hi. Yeah they changed the blocks for solar panels, remove old panels and install new, also remove the solar capasitors and it should work. I will update it as soon as possible.

Hey I love your ships! Is there any chance you can add a vanilla version of this ship to the workshop? I tried to make a vanilla version myself but because it was made with Reforged stuff I get id mapping errors. It will always say forbidden blocks for me no matter what I do

tthe solar panels was changed because of a nasty bug (it destroy a part of the ship as the older panel was a 'hacked' version of the BA panel) . Now the panel is better as it is based no more on sun position but it's a fixed -125 watt or -65 watt (depending of the size) on your direct consumption. the better part is that you can stack them or even put them inside your ship and it work the same ( solar corridors In your ship anyone ?) ... the road is open for new creative way to use them ... the only con, is that you can stock no more energy when you quit the game (as there is no more capacitors for CV )

Are the solar removed from Reforged Eden? Sorry just got back home after some weeks at work and haven't checked the latest updates, i will look into it. Thanks for letting me know

Hi Othar. The main reason for hidden thrusters in this one is due to it's prepared to work with the AntiMatter warpdrive. The weight on that is 4000tons and if i should have used free exhaust it would ruin the design.

On the Topaz XR it's done like that to be able to keep the vital parts protected and still keep the size compact.

I used to have non blocked thrusters for a period. But since the game setting that only allow non blocked thrusters can be buggy and is not recommended. I slowly moved away from it, but i still like to have some exposed thrusters for the look.

yep... but you can't test the 'free exhaust' in creative.. you need to run a personnal server for that

Always best to spawn a ship in creative at first to make sure it meets your specific server's rules and your individual needs.

i just see that there is the same problem with the Topaz XR that have 2 larges thrusters embedded in the hull at the rear (near the ramp) and also some problems with the shutter windows on 2 or the 3 main forward thrusters. it's a pity as the original Topaz respect the 'free exhaust' rule. perhaps a warning in the description can be added.

Hi Icewolfen, i just try to move from the Topaz to Opal... but there is somes problems.
For my server, there is 2 extra plasma turrets that i removed, and i see that there is two drive thrusters (front of the ship) that didn't respect the 'free exaust' rule.. is it a decoy to attract fire ? or just that your server didn't use this rules ? and if it's a decoy, did it need to be so big ?

Made a few recommended upgrades...added generators/heavy plasma, and took it against a drone field. This ship is very fun to fly, and she is a brawler. She can maneuver relatively well and is agile in a roll, but her weapons are set in a way to make short work of most enemy ships in range. Excellent work and extremely efficient!

I just upgraded from the Topaz to the Galaxy Opal and took it out for Drone hunting with you on your Stream for its first Battle. Even though my shield went down a few times the repair was very cheap and it did a super performance. And there's plenty possibility to upgrade =)

Thanks AzaralahZee :) You can always add some XNOR circuits if you want to have them both on P-menu and levers. I have found signal logic in multiplayer to be buggy, so i try to keep it to a bare minimum and let the player customize it depending on needs. Personally i like the RP value of using levers.

I will probably release a reforged version of Black Pearl within a week.

Icy!! Another great ship! I love all the features! I will admit to altering some of the shortcut levers to be accessible from the ship status screen lol but this ship is marvelous! I also use the Black Pearl but this one is great for Legacy! Keep em coming, mate!!

Thanks a lot Chum :) I use it for drone parts all the time. My current setup is 9 T2 laser, 24 T2 Plasma, 11 minigun and a bastion shield.
