Make a shorter version with weapons, this thing with all the feactures is amazing, seriusly.

Hi me again I didn't get a confirmed answer on whether or not you minded me re uploading a SAR modification with new winches equipment generally upgraded all round with a new autopilot
Hunter Falkner  [author] 3 Jul, 2021 @ 1:13pm
@Slim, I'm extremely baffled because I loaded up the vehicle from workshop (so exactly the same way as you would load it, not saved on my PC) and the rocket motor is there, it's right under the seat and fires me out of the vehicle. I'm very surprised that you have this issue and I don't have much of an idea how to help you with this. I suppose you can just add the rocket motor under the seat with 50% burn rate and connect it to the microcontroller on the seat which will cause it to fire and save the modified vehicle.
Slimane 3 Jul, 2021 @ 12:28pm
@Hunter Falkner I've conducted a small serie of tests and was able to establish the following behavior of the seat :
- On land/hovering : The roof is ejected by the rocket engine but the seat don't have any propulsion and is just disconnected.
- In the water : The seat is disconnected and floats outside of the cockpit.
- During horizontal flight : The roof is ejected and the seat is sucked outside of the cockpit without any propulsion.
The seat isn't fitted with any rocket engine in contradiction with the flight manual (section 6.6, quote : "firing both the seat rocket motor and theescape hatch rocket motor")

I have done a lot more than a paint job. (P.S did you just add me on discord? I'm having the same conversation with a bunch of different creators at the same time and I'm starting to lose track of who built what?)
Hunter Falkner  [author] 2 Jul, 2021 @ 12:22pm
@Slim, I'm not entirely sure what kind of a problem you might be having as the ejector seat seems to be working for me. If nothing happens after you hold down the ejection button for 0.3s then you should check if the seat is armed. However if the escape hatch separates and the seat fails to leave the cockpit then I'm not entirely sure why that might be happening. The ejection seat has been affected at least twice by game updates and the second time they got affected they got broken after which I had to tune the rockets a bit to make them work again. The only suggestion I can make is maybe try setting the physics detail to high.

@Bane882266, I'd have to see the vehicle first because I don't like re-uploads on the workshop that are basically the same vehicle but with a different paintscheme.
Bane882266 30 Jun, 2021 @ 7:32am
@Slim You have armed the ejector seat before using it?
Slimane 30 Jun, 2021 @ 5:36am
(On land)
Slimane 30 Jun, 2021 @ 5:19am
Hello, i can't get the ejection seat to get me out of the cockpit, the rocket seems to not work
Bane882266 29 Jun, 2021 @ 2:52pm
Do you mind if I re-upload a heavily modified version with it clearly labeled that you originally created it.

I'm going to release a string of the highly modified workshop vehicles and I'm collecting the consent of the original creator?

(If you have any objections please just comment in this thread as I am subscribed.)

Click Either "the flight manual" Or "MFD system manual"

i cant find the manual lol
Elemental210 30 May, 2021 @ 6:31pm
The manual helps bring this aircraft to life great work!
Greendog19 8 May, 2021 @ 8:35pm
good concept btw.
Greendog19 8 May, 2021 @ 8:34pm
@hunter falkner, I just cant do it much Low performance and laggyness. thx though.
Assmaster 8 May, 2021 @ 5:37pm
This is exactly like my VTOL the V-44 and V50 only better, great job
Hunter Falkner  [author] 8 May, 2021 @ 11:31am
Main rotors should be connected at all times during flight. To avoid choking the engines during transition it is required to fly forwards at 50 knots and only then advance the forward propeller throttle while simultaneously letting go of the collective. If the engines start to choke reduce the forward propeller throttle to allow them to spin up or enter a dive to gain forward speed.
Greendog19 8 May, 2021 @ 9:33am
sooo, how do I do horizontal flight without stalling? everytime I do it, and I do follow the manual, I stall. Do I have to Have the Main Rotors ON or OFF?
Cranex 13 Apr, 2021 @ 4:06am
were is the button to fold up the engines? i cant seem to find it
Kazuma 10 Apr, 2021 @ 9:26pm
the manual said it had autopilot but i dont see any autopilot in the cockpit
Clutch105 8 Apr, 2021 @ 8:31pm
I think I have a problem with ascending or am I just stupid
SCOOZE 8 Apr, 2021 @ 6:48am
this is like the mi v 12
the_Didler 6 Apr, 2021 @ 9:14am
yeah your right i was trying to turn it like a fighter jet lol
RandomDude 6 Apr, 2021 @ 1:48am
ima bring it into a flank
VallenOro 5 Apr, 2021 @ 12:24pm
only problem i have is power to wieght
Hunter Falkner  [author] 5 Apr, 2021 @ 5:06am
@theoshuff Are you sure you followed the manual?
theosshuff 5 Apr, 2021 @ 5:01am
On the creative hangar the right propellor keeps cutting off then comes back on and offf again
Hunter Falkner  [author] 4 Apr, 2021 @ 4:29am
@stanhopehothamjoseph It doesn't have the best power to weight ratio but it's fine as long as you stay within the flight envelope. It is a transport aircraft, not a fighter jet and trying to fly it like one is going to end up in a crash.
the_Didler 4 Apr, 2021 @ 4:03am
it is so under powerd when you use the front propellors. use jets?
Hunter Falkner  [author] 4 Apr, 2021 @ 3:17am
@KANE Any except for the helicopter base

@The Holy Peanut 101 Due to the in game aerodynamics being what they are - flight with strong wind in the back is dangerous and slow. The wings produce no lift, the propellers have trouble fighting against it and you're risking a sudden spin and crash. Flight with the wind in the back should be done very carefully.
Dolphin 3 Apr, 2021 @ 10:30pm
a large one
Nitric 3 Apr, 2021 @ 9:50pm
what hangar do i spawn it in?
Dolphin 3 Apr, 2021 @ 9:43pm
please help
Dolphin 3 Apr, 2021 @ 8:16pm
i turn on altitude hold, and turn off autohover
Dolphin 3 Apr, 2021 @ 8:15pm
question; when I go into horizontal flight after being in hover, it can generate enough power to support the ship, i never had problems with it until now, is it because of factors like wind?

Always been a huge fan of the Kamov MV-22, but there hasn't been many attempts at building one. It might not be the actual one but it's close enough for me :steamhappy:

Leviticus Cormwall 3 Apr, 2021 @ 2:10am
thanks hunter for the guide, im now a certified VC-55 operator now.
Hunter Falkner  [author] 3 Apr, 2021 @ 1:26am
@dstokes0312 That's because the ECAM has its own manual which is linked under the "Full glass cockpit" position in the "Features" list
dstokes0312 3 Apr, 2021 @ 12:58am
Your manual says nothing about the ECAM system
Hunter Falkner  [author] 2 Apr, 2021 @ 3:43pm
I've never had an engine fire but I suppose you will have an engine fire if you throttle the engines at 100% without the main rotor connected for too long. Keep the throttle at minimum and increase it after connecting the rotor, that should fix the problem.
Phantom 2 Apr, 2021 @ 3:40pm
Following the guide and the engine temps rise too much when i set the engine throttle to 100% causing fires in both engines.
xXBig_LurchXx 2 Apr, 2021 @ 12:43pm
Awesome
