VC-55 "Atlas" An Advanced Convertiplane

Description
This aircraft is going to be confusing, please refer to
the flight manual [docdro.id] and the MFD system manual [docdro.id]
It is required to fly this aircraft with care as it is not very forgiving.

First and foremost huge thanks go to Big Nasty who shared his aviation experience with me and made it possible to make this aircraft the way it is. Huge shout outs also go to Ghost, who made the amazing MV-22, for taking his time and advising me on a this aircraft.

Inspired by the Kamov Ka-22 this aircraft is is capable of both helicopter and horizontal flight, a multitude of mission profiles and is equipped with full glass cockpit, designed specifically for this aircraft (a verision of this ECAM can also be found in the RP-10V Ceres ).

After gruelling development this aircraft, airframe No. 97375 ordered in FY 2021 has been deployed with the VRM-35 "Illusionists", providing humanitarian relief, transport and all kinds of medium lifting into places where no cargo planes could reach.

Features:
- Sizeable cargo bay
- Full glass, high fidelity cockpit [docdro.id]
- Hydraulics simulation
- Aerial refuelling receptacle
- Auto GCAS
- Ejection seats
- Two hoists
- Sling loading winch

Hi me again I didn't get a confirmed answer on whether or not you minded me re uploading a SAR modification with new winches equipment generally upgraded all round with a new autopilot

@Slim, I'm extremely baffled because I loaded up the vehicle from workshop (so exactly the same way as you would load it, not saved on my PC) and the rocket motor is there, it's right under the seat and fires me out of the vehicle. I'm very surprised that you have this issue and I don't have much of an idea how to help you with this. I suppose you can just add the rocket motor under the seat with 50% burn rate and connect it to the microcontroller on the seat which will cause it to fire and save the modified vehicle.

@Hunter Falkner I've conducted a small serie of tests and was able to establish the following behavior of the seat :
- On land/hovering : The roof is ejected by the rocket engine but the seat don't have any propulsion and is just disconnected.
- In the water : The seat is disconnected and floats outside of the cockpit.
- During horizontal flight : The roof is ejected and the seat is sucked outside of the cockpit without any propulsion.
The seat isn't fitted with any rocket engine in contradiction with the flight manual (section 6.6, quote : "firing both the seat rocket motor and theescape hatch rocket motor")

I have done a lot more than a paint job. (P.S did you just add me on discord? I'm having the same conversation with a bunch of different creators at the same time and I'm starting to lose track of who built what?)

@Slim, I'm not entirely sure what kind of a problem you might be having as the ejector seat seems to be working for me. If nothing happens after you hold down the ejection button for 0.3s then you should check if the seat is armed. However if the escape hatch separates and the seat fails to leave the cockpit then I'm not entirely sure why that might be happening. The ejection seat has been affected at least twice by game updates and the second time they got affected they got broken after which I had to tune the rockets a bit to make them work again. The only suggestion I can make is maybe try setting the physics detail to high.

@Bane882266, I'd have to see the vehicle first because I don't like re-uploads on the workshop that are basically the same vehicle but with a different paintscheme.

@Slim You have armed the ejector seat before using it?

Hello, i can't get the ejection seat to get me out of the cockpit, the rocket seems to not work

Do you mind if I re-upload a heavily modified version with it clearly labeled that you originally created it.

I'm going to release a string of the highly modified workshop vehicles and I'm collecting the consent of the original creator?
