Any chance you had the several old cargo and NPC ships (before connectors & convoyers worked) saved somewhere? I'd be interested in'em!

I did initial survey of the area, shutting down anything that still had reactor power. This can lead to some 'Interesting' behaviors when things start to come adrift without ID and Gyro corrections. :)

Did a thorough look at the 'Carrier'. Bloody amazing ship that.

I could have found it a LOT more difficult if the turrets had been set to Hostile AI mode, but I supposed most people would have been put off with them shooting stuff you might want to keep. :)

Yea, to increase the challenge I just think you should destroy or havily damage those solar panels, and be sure to empty most of the reactors in all of the ships.

Maybe leave a tiny bit in each one so when the player spawns in he has to hurry and cut his way into all the ships collecting uranium then find a ship intact enough to recharge his/her suit at.

Doesn't seem too difficult, your priority would be to get that civilian freighter with the solar pannels fished out of there, there's enough energy to run a medbay (or you can just sit in a cockpit for a minute). From there I would repair one of those fighters into a mining ship and start refurbishing one of the big ships.
