Report a translation problem
Regarding "the limitations of Terraria's music engine", internally the wav files are processed into MP3s and then played on a loop. Because mp3 files are lossy, they introduce a small amount of silence to the start of the track, if I remember correctly it is about 2ms. So I basically need to find a good looping point to the song where a small amount of silence doesn't feel too out of place, and reduce the length of the song at that point so it doesn't sound weird in-game. If you want to try and listen to this effect occur in game, note the small silence when the "Plantera" track loops.

The reason i'm asking is because it sounds like you have really good advice.
I'll listen to the other suggestions you got and see how well they cut and mix in though!
