keep getting conflicts, error points to mod conflicat during map gen, sadly cant recommend this mod at all

melee frenzy should be disabled for pawns incapable of violence, my highmate keeps getting it

I sooo want to use this in my new playthrough together with VSIE - Rational Trait Development but I am waiting for an update since the comments are pretty concerning rn :steamsad:

Is there anyway to disable certain social interactions? I keep having colonies die because one character suggests a food binge party

@Auspician they dont read the comments. To report bugs use the google form linked in the mod description. I already reported this bug, but if more people report it, maybe it gets higher priority.

@Oskar I'm also getting 'Trying to save reference to discard thing' like 1113850540 mentioned below, that I believe ties back to this mod. Any chance of an update or fix? I love what this mod does and I'd prefer to not simply disable it.

Jesus. . . had a Yttakin Pawn with 20 animal skill(12 base+8 gene w/ burning passion) do the "teaching" chit-chat with another pawn with 5 animal skill (burning passion not set to handling) and that gave him 5906xp(had a chit chat before that about trapping with another pawn but they only had 1 in animals w/ no passion).

Unrelated, is there a way to tone down the amount of these chit chats from happening as often or reduce the amount of skill they get from these talks?

I killed some mind devouring eldritch raider and now the whole colony shunned me for a murderous rampage. Too realistic. 10/10

You know how sometimes a passing faction group will have "Y is the daughter of [your pawn X]"? Does this mod have a feature where the two pawns could enjoy a catch-up chat or activity together, before the other group moves on and is never seen again?

Dear Mod Author,
I'm encountering an issue with "Vanilla Social Interactions Expanded" in RimWorld. During autosaves, I get repeated warnings about "Trying to save reference to a discarded thing" for various pawns.
The error logs point to RaidGroup:ExposeData() attempting to save references to already destroyed pawns that are no longer managed by the game.
I've tried updating the mod and checking for conflicts, but the problem continues. It seems the RaidGroup class might need to clear destroyed pawn references before saving.

I am enjoying much of the social side expansion to this mod, thanks to the VE team for such great work on so many mods.

I'd just like to feedback here I don't think the "gained trait" mechanic makes any sense and to be honest it swings wildly between being overpowered or a serious detriment. I've just had 2 pawns gain immunity to flu and one became depressive and the other (one of my good doctors) became a 'dunce'.

It's just very random and I don't think it fits with the mod at all.

Does the "Previously our enemy" ever expire? Seems too harsh to keep that forever, when the majority of pawns added are going to be from prisoners. It should taper off eventually.

Do married couples do the dating stuff as well? would seem a shame if you stop dating when you get married (realism? lol)

could've been a conflict with somehting else, but after combing through my whole list, removing this mod was what made my 135ms TPS spikes drop to 50.. so if anyone else has a similar problem, try removing this :er_sad:

When using the Inspiring Words skill with level 6 psychic power
Even when the inspiration feature added by the mod is disabled, the mod will still provide the inspiration

I've already submitted a bug report but this mod is buggy right now. Memories are being duplicated (multiple sad memories from a single bad event) making the game a lot harder!

We don’t look at comment section of our mod for issues. Any issues reported using our Google forms (as per the instructions in mod description) have been fixed.

If people don’t report properly, they should expect us to respond accordingly.

Coming back to play again, and it breaks my heart to see the comments. I really, really liked this mod. Hopefully they'll address the issues. Hurt to have to remove it while I was cleaning up my list of mods.

Is it possible for the "beer party" event to be tweaked? Two of my colonists just got addicted to the psychite tea I had for my wasters, because they grabbed a "beer" together and the beer was psychite tea.

This mod has a lot of issues. I'm getting insane slowdowns in some games out of nowhere. The issue seems to be related to this mod, pawns are frozen trying to do anything because they're getting stuck with a check from this mod for interactions, some of the most random, instead, are related to "royalty: exalted" meme, which I had to use dev mode to remove from my ideology. Disabled the mod and no longer having issues.

I have been having a lot of awful bugs that I've kind of chalked up to a natural consequence of having 100+ mods, but after reading the comments and removing this one mod suddenly everything works smoother. Really awesome mod that I was so hesitant to get rid of because I absolutely adored it, but... buggy, buggy mess from the dev team that wants you to spend an hour doing your own testing for them to accept bug reports. Are we surprised

does this mod cause a standing issue? ever since i got this mod some pawns when going to bed will just stand next to the bed and it gives me like a "somebody tried to do 10 of something" in the dev log and it then just holds them there forever.

i think this mod is stoping raid spawns, in the log alot of yellow appears and social expanded is the only thing is appearing with raidspawns

Actually, no, you can't disable the inspirations. I set the inspirations to the "X" and it doesn't let me leave the menu until I turn it back on. I manually go and turn inspirations off in the config files, and even though the game says inspirations are off, I STILL get nonsense like inspired planting and it still says things like "X would like to perform a surgery" when I get inspired surgery, but the inspiration doesn't go away when I tell them to do surgery just to get rid of the worthless garbage inspiration.

super cool mod but i get warnings every couple minutes in the logs

This keeps making 20 warnings every minute or so in the logs. I don't know how to solve these. It happens every save game with random corpses, etc. It all comes down to this mod.

The teaching thing is also problematic (although the toggle for that actually works), as it gives pawns skills I don't want them to have because it further dilutes the inspiration pool. I wouldn't mind all the useless inspirations you threw in there as much if you made inspirations more common or having one inspiration didn't stop you from getting another, but having to wait through 10 days of my 2 plants skill animal tamer having inspired planting is really annoying.
