Oh, uhhh. Iirc, firebox temps won't help, as the boiler builds pressure no matter how high it gets, though there is a 100-or-so degree minimum for pressure buildup.

Just one more question, what is the best firebox temperature setting for the time being, until this problem can be fixed?

But yeah, due to recent updates, I kind of can't work on her much anymore due to LAG...

Well, as she stands now, she'll stop moving once the boilers reach around 15 steam. Guess I'll have to work on a hotfix soon.

Excuse me Nightscale, I always loved this creation, but it currently seems broken for me. I have followed the instructions to get her started up, but the ship's propulsion doesn't work for me. I've lit the boilers, got the steam valves opened all the way, and due to disabling engine overheating, have built up a good head of steam to 25.00 per boiler, all boilers. Yet the propellers will not spin, so she can never go anywhere. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

That's a known issue since a few updates ago. Unfortunately, my PC isn't very powerful. So working on her is a tad stressful.

all of the boilers blow up, i'd recommend setting the discharge or desired pressure lower

they were moved to the engine room due to the switch to proper steam.

To start the ship head down to the boiler rooms through the engineering section on C-Deck amidship, or through the crew entry doors in the D-Deck reception room, or even the new staircase in the FWD cargo hold. First head aft in-between the boilers into the engine room, hit the "Activate All 4 Boiler Rooms" button on the wall, or activate all the boilers yourself, lol. The Steam valves are now linked to the throttle, and only work when the boilers have pressure! Make your way up to the bridge and utilize both Eng telegraphs to move forward.
She absolutely, positively needs to steam up before she'll move! Takes around 5-10 minutes, depending on the lag.

i am on a macbook air and when i try to spawn via custom missions in the addon editor it just takes me back to the addon overveiw.

define "won't spawn"? It takes a few seconds to spawn in, give or take. Depending on hardware.

what physics detail are you using? Low? Medium? High? I can't seem to reproduce the issue.
I could've sworn I encountered this alignment issue when I was converting her to steam, and fixed it...

i love the ship, i went and added npcs as passengers but every time I spawn it the ship goes crazy and some lifeboats fall off. I even tried it in the original workshop mission, still does it. I suspect there is an allignment issue

*SPAWNS AT OIL RIG*
Pause the game, open the "Addon Editor".
Click "Load a saved addon".
Click "Workshop".
Click "RMS Olympus NightScale Edit".
Click "Test Location" (The little flag icon).
Go to your map. Find the oil right location (Might have to google what it looks like). If the map's all darkness, go to the "Custom menu", and click "Reveal the map", as well as "Unlock all islands".
Click the little home icon on the oil rig. Click yes to teleport there.
Boom. Done.

The elevator issue was NOT on my end. The Stormworks dev team has fixed a bug that broke the elevator.

Well, This was a one-time deal. I doubt Zuiquan12 would approve of another ship, let alone the other variants of the Olympus. Sides, I have absolutely no idea what the interiors would even look like.

awesome this is my fave ship made by Zuiquan12 and nice to know its got more interior especially since my pc handles the ship with 0 lag

yes. The hallway and exterior lights still spawn turned on. The cabin lights are another story. I have them turned off by default to reduce lag on slower machines.
