A really great base. My problem is with a couple of screens on the 2nd level not showing all of the materials. E.g. I have a lot of silver in the containers but nothing is displayed. And one question: if various ores are stored in containers, will they be removed over time and automatically converted into bars?

@ dagobertus I would try placing it in a new world with scripts disabled and see if there is any improvement. Out side of a script acting up I honestly don't know what else it could be. The station doesn't have any real complex parts to it that could cause that much of an impact

@War Wolf appreciate it, I tried hunting for the block but finding a block i dont know the name of in a 4fps slideshow is only so effective lmfaoo

@ dagobertus dogburglus Most likely its the layout script, There should be a programmable block labeled as Layout or SIMPL. Deactivate that programmable block as soon as you paste in the blueprint. For whatever reason that script acts up from time to time.

The scripts that come with this thing are absolutely tanking my performance, otherwise I really want to like it. I spawned it by itself in creative and almost instantly reached near 100% memory usage, I run a titan and 16gb ram and don't have issues with much larger constructs in this game so idk what gives

really good. other then the fact that the central walkway or whatever it is is not pressurized so you have to wait for it to presurize again once you enter a room on the side or whatnot. also crashed my game but that was probably to warheads i placed through it to blow the thing sky high because explosion nice

@War Wolf, I have. Once I turned off the scripts the game stopped crashing. Once I got rid of the Radar, everything worked fine. I do have the radar minimap mod installed. Maybe it conflicted when I got too close.

hmm...thats kinda odd....have you tried changing the games settings and turning off in game scripts?

@ Target the sub-grids are : 4 Comms dishes that just sit on 4 hinges, the connectors on pistons at each docking bay, and the main comms dish at the top that should be it.

Am currently building it (using build&repair mod, i'm not stupid). What is the 1% that is not on the main grid? So far i've found what probably needs to be connectors at the end of pistons and 2 places for radar dishes (1 on a hinge and 1 on I guess a rotor and then hinge on top). Did I miss anything?

VONMON Yes something definitely makes the graphic card crash... I dunno what but my CG already handled way much more heavy ship and station without flicking.

I really really like this station! However, my graphics card crashes if I have in-game scripts running. It might help (for those of us who want to paste the base into the game) to have the programmable blocks turned off initially.

Reminds me of the Cyrus station I helped make for a friend, but this is much more detailed and beefed up, I dig the ring separation but I thought the windows were hangar doors in the pictures, if this station was a bit bigger there could be so much space for hangar positions. Looks good :selike:

A big, heavily armed version of the faraday station, and that station was already big, lost myself so many time in it.

15 decks...realised that when I saw the stairwell, that thing is a nightmare for me.

The heavy armor is 1 block thick in most places, some areas have a layer of light armor behind the heavy, but mostly in the roundish areas.

2) understandable. Wasn’t sure if the rotor type would show on projector, I knew about the connecting ship via connector don’t project at all, but did not know it’s the same with rotor so I can imagine the same hold true for hinges.

Additional question:
3) how thick the heavy armor wall are?

1) The Scripts I Used are now in the description under notes
2) yes, I had thought about custom rotor turrets, however there a 3 reasons i didn't in this build. 1, They would have raised the pcu count higher then i wanted ( some peoples cpus might have caught on fire ) 2, That many subgrids can have a big impact on performance ( more so in MP ) and 3, I wanted to keep as much of this station as i could projector friendly.
