Description


Halcyon Gate Is A Large Military Defense And Re-Supply Station. Often Used As A Planetary Control Center This Station Is Meant To Be An Endgame Build For Factions.
Though Higher Cost Then Other Stations, Most PC's / Mp Servers Should Still Be Able To Handle It.

The Station Is 89989 Pcu And 32k Blocks

Since There Are 15 Decks I Highly Recommend ( Not Required ) Adding The VCS Elevator Mod, I Left Room For It In The Center Of The Stairwell, And I would Suggest Placing A Stop At Every Other Floor. You Can Find The Mod Here :

A really great base. My problem is with a couple of screens on the 2nd level not showing all of the materials. E.g. I have a lot of silver in the containers but nothing is displayed. And one question: if various ores are stored in containers, will they be removed over time and automatically converted into bars?

@ dagobertus I would try placing it in a new world with scripts disabled and see if there is any improvement. Out side of a script acting up I honestly don't know what else it could be. The station doesn't have any real complex parts to it that could cause that much of an impact

Still having massive FPS drops after disabling what you said; any other ideas?

@War Wolf appreciate it, I tried hunting for the block but finding a block i dont know the name of in a 4fps slideshow is only so effective lmfaoo

@ dagobertus dogburglus Most likely its the layout script, There should be a programmable block labeled as Layout or SIMPL. Deactivate that programmable block as soon as you paste in the blueprint. For whatever reason that script acts up from time to time.

The scripts that come with this thing are absolutely tanking my performance, otherwise I really want to like it. I spawned it by itself in creative and almost instantly reached near 100% memory usage, I run a titan and 16gb ram and don't have issues with much larger constructs in this game so idk what gives

really good. other then the fact that the central walkway or whatever it is is not pressurized so you have to wait for it to presurize again once you enter a room on the side or whatnot. also crashed my game but that was probably to warheads i placed through it to blow the thing sky high because explosion nice

@War Wolf, I have. Once I turned off the scripts the game stopped crashing. Once I got rid of the Radar, everything worked fine. I do have the radar minimap mod installed. Maybe it conflicted when I got too close.

hmm...thats kinda odd....have you tried changing the games settings and turning off in game scripts?

@ Target the sub-grids are : 4 Comms dishes that just sit on 4 hinges, the connectors on pistons at each docking bay, and the main comms dish at the top that should be it.
