After using it a bit longer I feel like for balance purposes this should probably be locked behind fabrication or advanced fabrication research.

The event that prompted this thought was me transitioning by building the first fusion reactor, only to realize I just used up the 4 advanced fabrication components I bought to make fabrication benches once those were researched.

For anyone wondering, this still works great in 1.5.
Great for late-game colonies, slowly switching from wind + solar to nuclear fusion reactors in every base ever since I subbed almost 4 years ago.
