ah, many thanks for that. Just started building the larger one, seems to compliment the otherwise humongous vanilla one well.

Many thanks :)

No problems at all. Could be a texture thing if you don't also download the required assets.

With the comment below I am just checking that this is working as intended..?

Thanks, and thanks for sharing :)

Just a little poke, seems like the materials might have a problem, Pyro noticed.

You have to have two tanks. You can empty the bitumen regularly if it is too much. You can sell it to make money.

They aren't pure white, but it looks that way in the game. I'll probably switch that texture soon.

I thought I had a problem with textures but later on realized I did not have dependencies downloaded xD . Great work, but could use some better textures, especially on these small storage tanks, they are pure white, too clean and it clashes with other assets.

Thanks for the feedback as well. I tried to make it as realistic as possible. In real life there would be some extra piping and equipment near the center, but it was already a LOT of polygons and I think it is a good balance for the game.

Legend has the right to share an opinion and thoughts. I think it could have been done in a nicer way, but I don't think that was the intent.

Any further comments about this will be deleted. Debate in PMs if you want.

Mila insulting people is not acceptable. If you cant say it in a nice way, i suggest you dont.

Comrade if someone prefer vannila, he don't need to go and make comment in real based models, but he searching for the vannila look.

Legend gamer trying make himself as creator-level being, and think he is aproved to tell another modder how their models must look.
He isn't part of developers team, he hasn't any real rights.

LegendGamer is another great contributor. I appreciate the thoughts. Some people want it all to fit the same theme, and some of use want realism, and some of us want diversity. I'm sure some would prefer one that looks more like the base refinery, but someone did that with the plastic plant already.

LegendGamer is moron.
Comrade Sky  [author] 3 Jan, 2021 @ 6:49am
This is based on a few real life refineries, and the base game refinery also has issues. This may not be perfect, but I don't think I could make a microrefinery as accurate as this with the base game. I think the tanks and stairs are nicer than the base game, though.

It will be in the style of a vanilla game and more familiar to players.

If you load the nmf of a conventional plant into a blender, it will consist of different shapes. By combining and slightly changing them, you can "disassemble" the vanilla plant into several buildings without collision, allowing the player to choose the size of the storage, the type of resource (bitumen, fuel, or both together), and production capacity.

What do you mean, Legend?
Tesmio 3 Jan, 2021 @ 6:38am
Try to make something similar based on parts of a regular vanilla plant, it looks better :)
