I see that you seems to have abandoned this mod, but I would like to share this updated and extended version.

Finally i recomend the prefix "Dux" for all the Visigothic, Suebi and Roman cultures, it translates to something more similar to "General" but technically all of your Knights are commanders of your army and besides it exist the posiblity that "Dux" is the origin of the word "Don" (From "Dux" to "Dun" to "Don". The other option for the "Don" word origin is the latín "Domĭnus")... also "Dux" is the origin word for "Duke" but in a totally different context so theorically there is no problem with that.
Oh and the Frenchs uses both "Sire", "Don" and "Chavalier" but it depends on the local regions of the kingdom, the most common was "Chavalier" and the less common was "Don" tho.
Really cool mod btw bro.
I also recomend use "Sidi" or "Sid" for all the Arabic and Berber culture group because it has de same meaning of "Sir" and actually is the origin of the Nickname "El Cid" of Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar. (Maybe you can use "Sid" for the cultures closest to or within the Iberian Peninsula and "Sidi" for all the others cultures of those 2 Culture Groups).
Not all the Spanish knights use the "Don" prefix and some people use that prefix without being knights (Like "Don Pelayo from Asturias", first king of the Asturias Kingdom) but neither did English with the "Sir" and the Italians with the "Don", the same situation happens with the Berber and Arabic knights but a thinks that enough of them did just justify a little bit of flavor.
It was too, mostly, used in south Italy as a title(non-real one, with no benefit) for some one who was believed wise or important, like merchants or yes, mafia bosses.
For this reason it is easy to see names of Catholic priests such as "Don Francesco".
A better prefix in this case, more inherent, since many knights weren't always "true" nobles, is "Cavalier" or "Signor".
"Signor" also has a myriad of meanings, but it's much safer then "Don".
P.S. I appreciate that you took the time to research "Don", unfortunately my country often goes unnoticed.
And still, I want just to help, of course you are free to decide if use it or not.
English & Scottish Knights also now take the title of "Sir"
Knights of an Italian culture now take the title of "Don"
I was originally going to give Anglo-Saxon knights the title of Sire, but after further research and trying it out in game, I decided against this behaviour.
Suggestions welcome.
