Hi! thanks for the update!
I've noticed that I can't till on Grasslands soil.
Was that intentional or an error?
Thanks!
Teneksi 4 Sep, 2024 @ 3:51pm
wonderful news. I had given up and stopped tilling after waiting so long for it to get done
Willow  [author] 11 May, 2024 @ 3:36am
@Gaminnewf - At some point, probably yes.
Gaminnewf 20 Apr, 2024 @ 9:48am
Any chance for a 1.5 update? =)
nat 16 May, 2023 @ 5:39pm
any chance you could add some of the Alpha Biomes terrains to this? Idyllic Meadows namely doesn't allow for tilling on its "Flowery Soil"
Willow  [author] 28 Feb, 2023 @ 4:24am
@Inimicus - Yeah, it's intended.
Inimicus 27 Feb, 2023 @ 2:52pm
Tilling rich soil doesn't actually buff growth times. Is this intended or?
blazescott202 1 Nov, 2022 @ 7:13am
@den I know that was in February but if you want more soil to till u can just open the mod folder go the whatever version you are running and add extra lines I added stony soil by adding <li>Gravel</li> to Terrain.xml using notepad.
Pain 24 Oct, 2022 @ 10:22am
Is it placeable on whater ?
Willow  [author] 21 Oct, 2022 @ 7:15am
It does not, no.
den 5 Feb, 2022 @ 7:02pm
does this not work for stoney soil, or am i missing something?

Found a fix for moss covered soil. the Regrowth core mod got renamed causing the Tillable_Regrowth.xml patch to no longer function since it uses the old regrowth core mod name for PatchOperationFindMod. Changing the mod there into <li>ReGrowth: Core and Framework</li> fixes it for me. Changing it into the tundra mod specifically might also work. could probably also add rg_aspensoil there as well.
MrXarous 12 Jan, 2022 @ 11:13am
@b.random a little old but seeing as the mod hasn't covered Aspen Forest biome, if you go to
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2337803663\1.3\Patches and open Tillable_Terrains.xml in Notebook++ or really anything to edit it and add <li>RG_AspenSoil</li> line under the other soil types and save locally and restart your game you'll be able to till that biome specific soil.
Willow  [author] 7 Aug, 2021 @ 5:59pm
nah
Endymion 7 Aug, 2021 @ 10:08am
Fertilized sand or nah?
B.random 4 Aug, 2021 @ 2:12am
This might need an update to include moss covered soil as well.
Prydzen ᛋᛟ 25 Jul, 2021 @ 4:22am
can you make tilled soil like 160%? theres no point to tilling when you get rich soil 140%... so 150 or 160% for tilled soil seems good to me since you put in extra work to make it.
Pjosip 22 Feb, 2021 @ 8:02am
Sounds like Rimworld workshop needs a dependency like this:

Willow  [author] 22 Feb, 2021 @ 5:16am
@Torkkar - Are any of these things in the description? :P
Torkkar 22 Feb, 2021 @ 5:02am
so does this make tilling the soil either:

A.) a one time action

B.) an action that can auto repeat in a grow zone

C.) not change VPE's method of tilling meaning I have to babysit my fields?
Willow  [author] 10 Feb, 2021 @ 12:47pm
Yes.
DMCurt 10 Feb, 2021 @ 11:22am
Does this patch also make moss-covered soil (which is distinct from lichen covered, evidently) tillable as well?
Mr-Bandit 2 Jan, 2021 @ 10:16pm
@averythekitty - aww shucks, but thx!
Willow  [author] 2 Jan, 2021 @ 9:46pm
@Mr-Bandit - It replaces it, but both are 140% fertility so it's basically just a visual change.
Mr-Bandit 2 Jan, 2021 @ 9:15pm
does the tilling stack with rich soil or replace it?
Dentedhelm 1 Jan, 2021 @ 8:44am
Thanks!!
[ Rizno . 雨 ] 30 Dec, 2020 @ 1:18pm
Nice, thanks :singingsheslime:
Willow  [author] 30 Dec, 2020 @ 5:36am
@RighTy - No clue.
GULÉ🏠 30 Dec, 2020 @ 3:55am
I think I already have tillable earth for planting, dno which mod. But does this mod overwrite it or should I unsubscribe from the other mod first before using this?:steamhappy:
MECHARAUSER 29 Dec, 2020 @ 11:27am
We always ask "when is terrain" but we never ask "How is terrain"
Justice for terrain.
Dr. Igor Dolvich 29 Dec, 2020 @ 8:53am
Thank you @AveryTheKitty !
Willow  [author] 29 Dec, 2020 @ 8:42am
@Dr. Igor Dolvich - They revert to their original terrain types. :)

e.g. tilling marshy soil turns back into marshy soil.
Dr. Igor Dolvich 29 Dec, 2020 @ 8:05am
When you till over the various soils, do they return to their original soil or does it turn marshy into regular soil, etc?
Lyn the Cookie 28 Dec, 2020 @ 12:41pm
I absolutely love it!
Willow  [author] 28 Dec, 2020 @ 6:28am
@Oskar Potocki - We always ask "is terrain playable" but we never stop to ask ourselves "how terrain playable".
Oskar Potocki 28 Dec, 2020 @ 4:50am
Is terrain playable?
Willow  [author] 27 Dec, 2020 @ 9:09pm
@ThePickledPixie - Thanks for the kind words! :D
ThePickledPixie 27 Dec, 2020 @ 8:52pm
@AveryTheKitty okay that got a pretty good chuckle out of me. Thanks for the mod btw. Modders keep the game alive and y'all got a TON of respect from me since you all do this free of charge. Thank you again <3
Willow  [author] 27 Dec, 2020 @ 7:49pm
@ThePickledPixie - Yes. This is actually a mod for Civilization V. Sorry for the misleading title and description.
ThePickledPixie 27 Dec, 2020 @ 6:05pm
Ill assume that adding this to any game that contains CE, any of the Vanilla Expanded Mods, and any other mod that is popular will cause the game to crash and set my computer on fire. Yes?
Willow  [author] 27 Dec, 2020 @ 5:25pm
Thanks! ^^
Chowder 27 Dec, 2020 @ 5:23pm
Good to see you joining the scene, Avery.
Willow  [author] 27 Dec, 2020 @ 11:44am
@Artay - No.
Artay 27 Dec, 2020 @ 11:43am
But the question is - Is it compatible with CE?
