I really like this mod it gives a bunch of different options for whatever your needs are yes some of the Jake brakes don't sound the best but overall i love it. The only complaint i have is that it can't be heard by others in convoy mode and it would be nice if that gets fixed in the future. Overall great mod.

@NoahBlueRidge Hi! Thanks for your comment! You can try to set one of the engine brake position, it's give you three mode of brakes strength:
1) 30% engine brake only
2) 60% engine brake, 60% retarder, 60% downshift
3) 100% engine brake, 100% retarder, 100% downshift

Jake brake's a little too strong, even when heavily loaded. Its way stronger even than the retarder you can get with various transmissions. Nerf the strength of the jake brake. I'm slowing down so fast its almost unusable really and likely will cause a player to wreck when driving in rain.

Actually there are some problems with realism of the jake brake sound, because at this moment I can't found any way to set this sound on exhaust bus, I thinks SCS doesn't support this possibility at this moment. Anyway I will try to do jake brake more louder and try to do somethink with realistic sounding.

To be honest I just got to say but... its not a bad engine but what this engine mod really needs is to work out the transitions in between the idle sound and the rev sounds and so forth... maybe more stages in between the rev sounds if possible such as Rev_1, Rev_2 and Rev_3 or more just to make it sound more realistic if FMOD works like that... Or if that is possible with using FMOD...
I mean I've used engine that sound way better than this, and the revving in them sound realistic in the other engine mods that I use...

Because to me when you rev up it literally sounds like a Volvo engine to speak sarcastically...
Like the revving the engine with the RPM gauge going up and down the sounds of the rev audio doesn't sound that realistic... Because for me it literally sounds like it only have 1 rev sound for the entire low Rev point to the Maximum Rev point. And to me with only 1 rev sound from bottom RPM to top RPM sound extremely terrible to me...

I'm just saying it needs a lot of work and detail and so forth... Such as the sounds...
Because otherwise it just sounds like a shitty Volvo engine just to speak sarcastically...
