it will be cold all year around so long as you have one of the difficulties selected, and it will snow whenever the weather decides to, perma snow just forces the game to keep snowing all the time

[KYR] Real Weather Mod lets you control in sandbox settings how high and low temps get. can b -200F or +200F potentially for winter and summer. but the game stops increasing what temp does to you at certain points on its own. If i made it 500F degrees in summer its not any different then it being 124F. However they have hidden the b42 version since last update.

Tried to hest a server (with 2 friends) with this mod plus many others (around 20 (none of them change weather). I waited for 8 hours but the server never started. does anyone know why? do I need to do something specifically or if it is possible to run this mod along with other mods on a server?

Tip for anyone who get leather through hunting: yes this mod bring all drying activity (leather, plant, etc) to a halt with the new process from the recent update. So you either need to keep the grid (:v), using some mod like the workable A/C unit, or if you have too much time, lit up a bonfire (the process for leather takes a week, herb a day under normal temp).

it takes a bit for the snow to begin and settle, however if you're on B42 you can just use the sandbox setting now, so i'll probably end up removing perma snow from the mod at some point since it is now redundant

Hey, ive been trying to use the perm snow mod but when get into the game i don't see any snow. I tried the mod without any other mods to see if something was overlapping it but i still got the same results.

@Mr. Coffee yes, that is why i recommend instant power off in sandbox settings, because there is nothing i can do about the magic heating while the electrical grid is still functional

After doing a little research, I just realized that as long as there is electricity, buildings will have "magic heating." Once the power goes out, it begins to affect the temperature from outside to inside.

update to previous message, ive just found out that swapping between stable and unstable and/or loading mods that support both builds changes how isoVehicle, isoAnimal, isoZoning and some other stuff works regardless of what the mods to do maintain format across builds. 100% not this mods fault, just the game loading b41 and b42 files at the same time (this is fucking stupid because it was never an issue before, ive also found more people with this issue and am now able to replicate it consistently)

@path it tags isoVehicleUI, isoAnimal something, isoWorld something idk what else in the error. i also found another mod that does these errors. i did look at what this mod changes, indeed it doesnt touch any of the lines about the errors given, but something about it makes the game cry. it could be load order, it could have been a conflict (though unlikely as i tried it standalone too) it could also be that the game has some persisting files from other mods that affect the game even after unsubbing. i can confirm this mod doesnt do this to every client as my friends have tried it and it didnt do that for them as of last 20~ minutes (i just closed the game after trying it out) so it is definetely the game being annoying. no need to worry about fixing your mod at this time. all i know is this mod directly does not cause issues, but a thing happens during loading of it that fucks the game and it is inconsistent across clients

so, im not sure if this is an issue for anyone else, but this mod specifically causes car ui and animal designation zones to bug out and error, not appearing anymore. i dont know if its the mod issue or if build 42 is being a bitch, but i thought id point it out. (i had to reinstall the game and remove one mod at a time to locate the source and it took me 4 days.) since i saw others had same issues but with different mods, i assume its something from b42 being a bitch, but just in case i figured id post this here in case it causes issues for anyone else

thats the thing, so far, it resolved itself after removing the mod, and we didn't have anything else that changes either the way that temp affects us or anything that could get us sick, maybe it had something to do with a wrong mod setup on the config but im gonna do a fresh save and maybe mention what happens later

cold temperature should not cause fever unless you have a different mod that changes that, the only illness you will get from being cold for too long is the common cold, which just makes you sneeze and attract zombies

Im having a issue with the mod, it appears like i randomly get the Fever moodle, but funny enough even after using God Mode it doesn't seem to go away, it just keeps trying to pop up again for a tiny seconds even during God Mode enabled, i mean im sure its not random at all, it happened like a little into the playthrought, my friend got fever, not even with God Mode seems to be able to remove it. Later same thing happened to me

alright so i did some testing, disabled all mods, and apparently snow doesn't work on easy mode but it does on normal mode, despite it being more than cold enough on easy for snow to happen
