Really nice mod, this is next level mod, great for jetpack nerfing

I just started a no jetpack survival challenge, this mod is such a great quality of life improvement. All I can offer is kudos and Steam points. Keep up the great work

rotation without jetpack!?! i've been searching for so long. now all i have to do is wait a little and then i'll be able to truly play without jetpack!

Can agree with Kamereon... Multiplayer hosted locally works fine. As soon as I turned it to a dedicated, no part of the mod functions. If there's any info I can send you, let me know. This mod is great.

Nice mod, especially with jetpack nerfing.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work on server :/

hows the "rotation when in 0G" updating going?
Planewalker 23 Jan, 2021 @ 11:15am
Nice.
Might want to exclude voxels from interactions for now tho. =D

Not sure if this has been said but there is a bug when trying to climb voxels or near voxels it will teleport you up to space every time. Still love this mod and use it alot!

KEEP ADDING UPDATES THIS IS COOL AS FUCK

Never realized how "real" this game would feel with something as "simple" as parkour. It probably wouldn't be game changing, but it would defiantly make the game feel less static.

Slight update on the climb mechanic. Note holding CTRL is not needed anymore!

thanks for video

Mid air movement, HELL YES
Chipstix213 26 Aug, 2020 @ 12:36am
Should be able to get some animations going there.
TwitchingPsycho  [author] 25 Aug, 2020 @ 2:17pm
There you go. :P

There really isn't much to showcase and it's rather hard to really showcase the subtle movement addition, besides the recently added ledge grab mechanic. Really takes 5 minutes to start a new world with this mod to see for yourself and decide if it's right for you or not.

A video of this mod's features would be helpful.

Infinite momentum should not be possible and it has nothing to do with bunny-hopping in particular. Best you should be able to do is change the direction slightly but that's about it. Please post in Bug report discussion the behavior in more detail. Thanks.
TwitchingPsycho  [author] 25 Aug, 2020 @ 7:02am
Then it's a bug or something. Ofc it's not meant to behave like that.
Darian Stephens 25 Aug, 2020 @ 7:01am
Ah, I've realised what it is: You've basically made bunny-hopping in SE!
If I jump and turn as I'm moving, I'll build up momentum super fast.
I'd honestly like to see this become a feature, either in another mod or a mode you can turn on.

It's unsuitable for most play, but it's a lot of fun bounding across hills due to good speed control!
Darian Stephens 25 Aug, 2020 @ 6:53am
Okay, this seriously needs to be toned down.
If I move forward and jump, I go to ~20m/s.
I also seem to move at regular speed if move when jumping from a standstill, which seems wrong.
I'd like to see it apply a very small amount of movement in the air. Not full-blown walking in the sky, but a slight nudge so you can guide yourself over ledges.

As it stands, I could use this as a primary method of transportation.

Well at this point it's not a inspiration but common sense to have some things work like in every other games due to LOGIC. There's a reason why wheels are round... 🙄
Darian Stephens 25 Aug, 2020 @ 4:29am
I could have sworn this was a feature at some point, I believe Marek actually cited modern FPS games as inspiration (And also led to the character moving at 10m/s and doors opening/closing faster), but the feature seemed to be simply lost in the updates like so many others.
DeAnti 24 Aug, 2020 @ 5:16pm
yea, now i cant play without it lol
TwitchingPsycho  [author] 24 Aug, 2020 @ 4:42pm
Thanks. xD
Wanted this for a loooooong time.
DeAnti 24 Aug, 2020 @ 4:41pm
