Definitely bugs the tutorial, but is absolutely something that should've been in the base game.

I'm not doing mods so it's not going to be fixed ;d

Still it sounds a bit weird, iirc this mod doesn't change anything related to inventory -> it just changes all the listed machines so they have "open player's inventory" as part of the "open window"

Unless there is some spaghetti in the vanilla code and opening inventory unlocks the shortcuts while typing for whatever reason

This mod breaks typing in the "Choose Item" box of machines like the Advanced Conveyor Filter, Mass Storage Output Port, and Freight Cart Station. Instead of typing into the box, the keys are interpreted as shortcut keys. For example, if you type the letter, "I", your inventory opens instead of putting an "I" into the box. This makes it impossible to type the name of most items.

But good catch, I will put it into description
The game loads too long so I tend to skip tutorial so stuff is never tested in this regard ;D

Hi. This mod makes completing the tutorial impossible. The mouse cursor gets stuck on the screen after adding power to the miner and clicking ok on the next popup. This was tested with only this mod installed.

A simple workaround is to enable the mod after the tutorial. Works fine afterwards.

"auto inv" was too long ;D
I left it at "inv" the icon has full "automatic inventory" so I guess people will understand what's going on

I didn't test it, so tell me if something goes wrong
Also don't install both mods, only one mod for auto inv is enough

It is possible, but only as separate mod
It wouldn't be added to this mod.

Mod to edit other mod's (tricky) machine requires this tricky's mod to be always enabled.
If tricky is disabled then mod crashes and game disables mod


in other words:
if I added tricky to this "automatic inventory" mod, then it would stop working for everyone who doesn't use tricky hoppers


Making new mod wouldn't be a problem, I would just copy this mod and add the tricky part
The name of mod would be headache ;d
Mod editting other mod, needs to be alphabetically after the main mod

it edits tricky, and name is alphabetically after tricky, but because name was too long I had to cut it a bit (that's why it's exp+ instead of expanded)

The mod works as it should. However, I use the Tricky's Storage Hoppers mod and this mod does not recognize these 3rd party hoppers. Is there a way to include them or would that be too much work?

Also a big thank you, Wariat 117, for all your QOL mods, they are really helpful! :)

I have updated mod.
Now it should open inventory for any machine that needs it.
If I have missed anything then feel free to inform me in comments there.
