A really fun, involved, classic mission, with working win/loss triggers and AI and a great looking map.

Made a few more adjustments to the map. Opened up room to HOPEFULLY get the congestion done for once and for all. lol @ChlodnyBorsuk: I took Vanessaira's suggestion and widened the bottleneck leading to the base by 2 cells. Hopefully that, as well as some adjustments to the map, will help with this on going issue!

YEP, the entrance to main NOD base is too narrow. AI blocks itself with too much units

@Bonpoc: weird. I would definitely look it up to see if there's a way to get them to show up.!

@Vanessaira: I actually took out the SAM site deep in the base because I was thinking I had an excessive number of them on the map. Lol

I still can't believe it gets jammed up at the airstrip. I actually removed a lot of what was around it initially and I removed a lot of the AI prebuilt units. Lol the problem is that when the AI calls for a team to be formed they might be stuck with units surrounding them.

@yoshi. That was the interesting thing. I waited out two waves of NOD APC/Eng reinforcements once the map was fully clear just to be sure, but. It might be possible that it was stuck off screen thanks to the traffic jam at the airstrip.

Oh I forgot to bring up the fact that I miss the SAM site deep in the main base. It prevented the decoy, bait, and sneak in aircraft trick. Or did you really want that to be an option?

@Yoshi: I have already downloaded 2 similar maps and not a single scenario map is there. What could be the problem? (google trns)

@Bonpoc: Once you subscribe to the map, open C&C Remastered (if you have it already open, try restarting it). When you get in, go to Mission Select, then go to the tab on the far right that looks like a crossed pencil and wrench: That is where custom singleplayer maps would be.

@Vanessaira: Weird that the condition isn't firing. I play tested the map 3 times so far with all 3 being able to win the scenario. Just to try something out I removed a reinforcement trigger that has been sort of spotty for Nod. I noticed that sometimes it would fire right and sometimes I would never see it fire. Maybe the units got stuck outside the map in limbo. In terms of the bottle neck I went ahead and widened it to see if it'll help.

how launch this scenario? where is point this map?

That map is awesome, but its still bugging out to where I cannot beat it. The very first time I played I beat it but the 3 times following I have been unable to beat it. I built about 100+ troops and comb'd the map for stealth tanks and there was nothing so I know it wasn't a hidden stealth tank keeping me from victory...

The enemy gets bottle necked around the main entrance and Airstrip.I don't know if widening the opening would help. Maybe widen the land by a tile on each side of the water? I know that is supposed to be a choke point but at this point each following play through is a wait for resources till you can attack the far northeast base and then sweep south for the final push with minimal resistance till you hit that front entrance.

I loved the sneak helicopter with engineers into the back of your base. I felt that should have been added and I am glad you did. Also feel you should double the turrets at the main entrance maybe?

For some odd reason, when I opened the map in the map editor, it would sometimes mess with my triggers. When all Nod structures are destroyed the AI is supposed to go into hunt mode to flush out any stealth tanks or stragglers. For some reason it stuck a teamtype into the trigger that made the trigger break.

Map should be fixed! Hopefully this is the last update I have to do to the map. I tried to reduce AI pathfinding errors as much as I could by editing the terrain and adding/adjusting waypoints. Took me about 45 min to beat the map. lol

Hope the results are up to everyone's expectations! Hopefully now I can move on to making another map!

I destroyed all the units and structures but could not complete the mission. Presume bugged. Also massive jam at enemy base which prevented any attack waves coming.

About an hour in and they have stopped attacking. I presume a bottle up at the base. I will update soon.

Alright guys. Map should be fixed. I did a massive overhaul on some parts of the map. I think you'll notice the difference ingame. :) Hope it helps! Have fun guys!

Sorry about that guys. I have an idea on what's causing this issue to happen so I'll take care of it, and playtest, when I come home from work. Thanks for your feedback!

This was a fun mission - having to craft different plans before finding an approach that works. The map has a nice looking layout and is beautifully detailed. The only bummer is that it doesn't seem to trigger a win; At the end I searched all over for stealth tanks and infantry hiding behind trees to no avail. :steamsad:

This is a brilliant Map done up by a great C&C map designer. If you are looking for a fair but challenging fight with some nice surprises. Then this is the single player map for you. This map will test your knowledge of classic C&C tactics, strategies, and unit capabilities. Get ready for a fight and a tons of fun.
