Good idea. I saw something similar over a year ago so that should tell you it's pretty rare. It's kind of easy but as you said, all you wanted to do was show the idea. I liked it. Thank you and I'll see ya round the workshop.

Good stuff! I used this idea in my chambers, "06 - Cube Juggling and Other Vices," and "15 - Down and Up and Out." Nonetheless, I'm pleased to see unconventional ideas. I enjoy your theme of simplicity.

I have never seen this done before, good thinking, maybe a bit too short but I always applaud creativity.

Warthog Algebra, well I published the demo pack for some of my maps of "Subject X", you will have no trouble finding the collection, lol infact chamber 3 is on the front page of the week, should have 3 in the picture, hope you enjoy them... :)

Well, I've seen this done several times before, but then I've played a very large number of PeTI maps. However, yours is the only map I've seen where it is pretty obvious what needs to be done, so yours can be solved by determined beginners who then get to add this to their bag of tricks. The other maps used this idea as part of much harder puzzles and took a long time to solve. No rating, because I found it trivially easy.

Thanks, Mesa! To get the light room on the floor, first you have to look at your item menu and move the floor of your test directly over the spot where the light room is in the menu. Next you click on the light room thus closing the item menu leaving the light room selected with your cursor over the floor of the test chamber. All you should have to do is move the mouse just a little bit and the light room should be able to be placed on the floor. I hope that helps and thanks for playing =)

My problem was just simply overthinking it, for some reason I thought I had to activate both laser things in order to open the door, which could technically possible if a level is designed for that it seems? I didn't run into the problem of the cube disintegrating, as I just moved the portal so the cube dropped itself. I didn't think it was a good idea to stand right next to a laser and attempt to catch a cube, lol.

yep the trick works, a little tricky to get it where you want some times, im also working on a custom story, maybe i'll use this on a laser test, at the moment none of them are published, im waiting until i make my own voice and text, then i'll probably upload them, maybe i'll publish a little demo of what i have so far...

The Custom Story is Called (Subject "X") I'll explain more once i'm almost done...

What happenes when you pick up the cube isn't a bug, you're right that it is the cube that drops down after it. Since the laser is already in place hitting the laser catcher to drop the next cube it goes in an endless loop everytime you grab the cube, all you need to do is move the laser before you grab it. As for the trick, look at the item menu and position the floor of your map over the spot where you select the light room. Once you click the light room the menu will go away leaving your cursor with the light room over the floor of the test. All you should have to do is move the mouse a little bit and it should be able to be placed on the floor. I hope that helps =)

oh no, i know you dont own the copyright, I just wanted to know if you minded or not, but thanks, also i have knoticed a bug in the map where if you go to pick up the cube, sometimes is discinergrates by nothing hiting it, it may be the cube that drops down after the one you pick up but, know knows i guess... Plus what is the trick to get that room on the floor, do you turn the camera a certin way ?

Thanks, GamerXD54! To answer your first question: no, I didn't. When you make a chamber in the in-game editor you can do a little trick by having your map in the right place when you select your light room. As for your second question: by all means please do! =)
Even though I came up with it on my own, I don't own any rights to it or anything :D:
I make community maps for the enjoyment of other players and it wouldn't be much fun if ideas could only be used once! I appreciate your visit, thanks for playing~

Not new for me - I've played at least a few maps using this: Soda - by SkyRoots Laser Troll by DeathWish808 - just 2 I found quickly. Since I know the trick it took around a minute to solve but it may be new for others.

I thumbs this chamber up because that was cool with the laser hitting the reflector cube inside the dropper to direct the laser to the catcher ...good job!
