How is the main mod mod doing? I remember this is essentially a mechanic taken from your mod you've been working on.
MeteorJunk 1 DIC 2021 a las 1:29
Would really love to be able to exit out of a peace deal I opened, fucking obnoxious when I have to restart like a solid 30 minutes of micromanaging because I wasn't satisfied with what I could take at that current point of the war.

When a nation capitulates, make sure to add modifier that prevents them from being able to form new factions, or perhaps a modifier that stops them from creating new factions.
KeKc 30 AGO 2021 a las 10:20
Yeah, I'd love to use this mod with Millennium Dawn, but I don't want to waste hours of play time before I figure out if the game is broken or not.
SKIBIDI_RIZZLER123 12 AGO 2021 a las 7:45
it's compatible with cold war or modern day mod??
DubViking  [autor] 9 AGO 2021 a las 9:38
hmm - sounds strange - will have to investigate
Aphextwin432 5 AGO 2021 a las 16:20
You think there are other mods that could be conflicting with it?
Aphextwin432 5 AGO 2021 a las 15:44
Are there other conditions you have to meet before being able to use certain options? Not only is everything greyed out, but the counters to see how much every option costs is missing as well. The war isn't scripted either and the ideologies aren't differen't.
Aphextwin432 5 AGO 2021 a las 15:36
I don't think so after testing it, it seems that whenever a war is won or the AI surrenders everything is greyed out and you only have a single point to use, unless I'm using the mod wrong
DubViking  [autor] 29 JUL 2021 a las 12:36
Not sure - in general, I would say "probably".

Unless there are a lot of scripted wars etc. If ideologies are totally different from vanilla, it might get a bit bland as well, as some of the variation comes from that. But I would think it might actually be....
Aphextwin432 28 JUL 2021 a las 15:29
This is gonna sound dumb but is this mod compatible with EAW?
DubViking  [autor] 9 JUN 2021 a las 22:46
I would say that most mods work with this "in theory" ...

Having said that, mods that use a lot of special scripting for wars and peace will work so so. The main problem comes when there are a lot of scripted civil wars - and they don't always use the "Civil War" war goal, and instead use e.g. Annex all. Which means this mod won't understand it is a CW... Which in turn will have some strange effect.

Haven't tried myself, but mods using a different set of ideologies should work, but will be a bit less "varied" as they will then all use the "fallback" costs for ideologies.

The same goes for new types of wargoal that this mod doesn't recognize.

So hard question to answer.
Chozer 8 JUN 2021 a las 15:58
Btw what kind of mods dosen't work with this one? when china capitulated they kicked all other cliques out of their faction and made a new one witn noone in it lol.
Chozer 7 JUN 2021 a las 10:43
it sounds good to be able to choose historical or non historical. but don't worry take all the time you need no pressure.
DubViking  [autor] 4 JUN 2021 a las 23:17
The points thing is tricky, I want to keep it low to get historical peace deals (well as reasonably historical as possible anyway) but I know many people want more.

Additionally it is rather tricky getting the scaling up to work better for different situations. One way could be to add more wargoal types and try to use them to get a cleaner distribution of points...

Also, have been considered just adding a "setting" where players can choose "historical" or "high points scale"

But both of those take time to implement etc. And I currently don't have much modding time.
AugustWins 2 JUN 2021 a las 18:04
Pls make the scale of points higher, I love this mod but it’s really annoying not being able to fulfill wargoals.
sharkwithlazers 1 ABR 2021 a las 13:13
Amazing mod, was genuinely impressed when I saw the Ai Soviet union do a conditional surrender with Japan so it didn't have to fight a 2 front war. My only gripe so far is that if you 100% capitulate a minor in a conflict with a "Skirmish" level of intensity, you cant puppet them. For example i was playing a Romania game and capitulated Hungary with a Puppet war goal, I was still 2 points short of having enough score to Puppet Hungary. I didn't have this problem when going after other minor nations like greece (I think calling in puppets is what escalated the war to a "Limited conflict" but I'm not sure). I cant wait to see what you do in the future as this mod makes the game a lot more interesting and a lot less world conquesty.
decrupt 18 MAR 2021 a las 9:08
Cool!
DubViking  [autor] 15 MAR 2021 a las 0:07
Did an update today. Added a new feature. I should probably have tested it a bit more, but as I figured it was interesting enough to add... (And I won't have that much time to test/work on the mod for a while now I figured that if there are any major bugs in it, you guys are sure to find them for me) :)

So basically now you can also offer peace when you are winning. Sending a peace offer to the losing country asking them to surrender and offering them a "conditional surrender".

AugustWins 14 MAR 2021 a las 19:53
it's not where it doesn't send, but where the option never shows up. Like I played a Germany game and wanted to take Cameroon, but I clicked on the state and the option never showed. But I think the main thing you should do is increase points earned imo.
DubViking  [autor] 14 MAR 2021 a las 1:06
Augustios, I actually haven't been able to replicate that bug. Not sure how it could have happened. I've had a few times in the past where the set treaty options doesn't fire at all, but never that the actual peace isn't carried out after clicking send...
AugustWins 12 MAR 2021 a las 16:29
Also, take colony as an option never works.
AugustWins 12 MAR 2021 a las 16:25
Kind of buggy. I was playing as Germany and made peace with the UK, but the peace deal never loaded and we remained at war. 3 months passed and nothing changed. Also, in a peace deal, a country should get way more points. Like as Germany I invaded France and only got 37 points, and transferring navies is up to 40 points.
DubViking  [autor] 18 FEB 2021 a las 8:27
Updated version available that should make that AI more likely to at take something.

Also fixed various existing options so that they work better (see release notes)
DubViking  [autor] 16 FEB 2021 a las 23:20
Ok, so there is something that messes up the "take Border states" for the AI, which is why there was an overly high ration of "blank peace treaties"

(In addition to the fact that all effects in the peace treaty aren't at the moment included in the news event - like e.g. revoking claims/cores - which sometimes makes it look like nothing happened even though it did...)

I think I have fixed it, but won't update until I have tested a bit more...
FreddyDaSchizo 15 FEB 2021 a las 3:26
Sounds sick dud, can't wait. :)
DubViking  [autor] 15 FEB 2021 a las 3:23
@frddy - Thanks for the kind words. It's going - slowly... Its a vast undertaking so most likely it will never be finished... ;) But I will re-upload it when/if I get a bit further (like when you can really play from 1918 to WW2 as a few of the major nations).
FreddyDaSchizo 14 FEB 2021 a las 12:28
What's the status on your mod that covers the 1918-1945 period of history? Knowing how well you made THIS mod I can only expect great results!
DubViking  [autor] 14 FEB 2021 a las 0:06
sounds wrong. Need to check if I broke something in the last update
Aphextwin432 13 FEB 2021 a las 22:13
Whenever an AI defeats another country all the land just reverts back to normal and nothing happens? Is this normal, does the AI not have enough of something?
XXSHADOWLEGENDXX 13 FEB 2021 a las 10:54
Is this compatible with RT56?
DubViking  [autor] 9 FEB 2021 a las 8:25
Anyway, updated a bit to fix some issues, and slight UI update at the same time
DubViking  [autor] 9 FEB 2021 a las 8:24
It _should_work in Multiplayer - so not sure about that last comment...
AdekVatnik 16 ENE 2021 a las 10:00
This mod does not work in multiplayer
kokakobaisiquer 19 DIC 2020 a las 12:32
Suggestion but it would be interesting to use casualties as a factor for proposing peace, like if you are a minor nation but you somehow cause a high number of casualties on the major so they white peace/let you take claim states, like if I'm playing Ireland and i capture north Ireland and cause a high number of casualties in the British so they peace out
DubViking  [autor] 4 DIC 2020 a las 6:32
Not yet, but I plan to add it
squide 4 DIC 2020 a las 5:42
Can you propose peace to the losing side?

decrupt 21 NOV 2020 a las 5:31

DubViking  [autor] 18 NOV 2020 a las 11:03
Latest update include an updated points calculation. Adding some more points to all, but especially to those not being Faction Leader so that they can actually claim a bit more in the peace negotiations.
UrbanWolfCub 15 NOV 2020 a las 11:29
I can't open the window after default surrender
