Custom assets but also game DLCs require a lot of RAM to load. If the game is crasing while loading a savegamne then at 99.9% it run out of memory .
universe sandbox has been in early access for 10 years
updates take months are actually useless additions nobody asked for they claim to fix bugs but the same issues remain broken
Their Roadmaps are lies they promised astoroid burn up features in march its now august and still nothing
im done waiting this just a lifestyle business at this point their living on our money with no intention of actually finishing the game

boosted my game from 18-20 fps to 58-60
I also tried all the potential fixes under "Known Issues" but it doesn't seem to work.

Mini FPS booster is literally the first result in google.
I guess when it updated, the launch file got reverted to the default.
Second, I would like to let you know that as of the recent update to the game where some new assets were added, as well as a radio station, the FPS Booster mod is no longer working. Please let me know what information I can help provide. I am using a mac. Thanks.

My GPU went from ~65% utilization, w/ CPU the obvious bottleneck, to 98-99%!
