You should be able to see it now. I think it has a crash when sisters of twilight go into ambush stance according to a friend of mine, didn't get around to verifying if that mod is the source of it yet.

I can't see it in your file overview, perhaps that's the issue you're talking about. I see your other two files though.

I already have it up for WH3, I think it has some issues right now but I'm working on it.

Any chance you could port this over to WH3? I looked at the tables, they two of them have change in a small way but it should be portable and include the new factions as well.

Is anyone having an issue with this about detecting beastmen while they are in their encamp/ambush stance? 2 games now I've known a beastmen army is in a spot, but my agents can't detect them, and when I run my army over it, they get their ambush off.

My guess is because it's linked to the encamp, that the agents detection bonus isn't getting applied.

I am running a lot of other mods, so I'm not sure if it's just a md conflict that I've got.

Hi is it hard to edit just to nerf it (lets say -50% or so chance to ambush)? I can't find on workshop with a nerfed version all mods just remove the stance. I don't like being able to always ambush attack but is nice to have a lil rng.

Should work for any of the affected factions as long as it takes priority in the load order.

Does this work for modded LL and SFO ? I also removed Lightning strike threw another mod so its more like the Total War games where you couldn't cheese armies.

Thanks in advance for this! I was playing Beastmen and was surrounded by 6 stacks of dwarfs and skaven and just ambushed them to death. Seemed too easy, if this removes Beastmen ambush except for hidden camp, it's absolutely necessary.

CA went stoopid with Skaven, so glad that one of the most annoying things removed.
Now if someone did a mod that did skaven properly (i.e. 100% reliable skaven engines can exist only in the world already overtaken by Skaven. Which means that CA are rats.).

Mod works great. Watching a skaven stack saunter right on up and "ambush" you, and then have the audacity to bring in reinforcements while your own are blocked is one of the dumbest examples of a game design decision in action that I've ever seen.

Based on feedback I've encountered, Beastmen are the one faction that don't need it really removed as they don't generally have 2-3 armies hanging around each other like Skaven do. And they're not strong enough overall to include them. Just my own take, I think really only the Skaven are who people don't want to have this stalk (esp race wide as opposed to a faction like Anar) because they are far more powerful than before.

It is save game compatible if that's what you mean. Download it, enable in the mod launcher, and the ambushes should stop.

Hey i just had a quick question on downloading this cuz im a fucking noob to computers, friend and i are playing a campaign and he is new and is getting cucked by clan mors who is amushing and blowing up his armies. when i hit subscribe does it just automagically download and get instituted in our campaign?

Maybe remove the Stalking stance from the affected factions but add the improved Ambush stance to them (like the one the WE have in the newest version)?

If I recall correctly it's not possible to single out certain LLs and give them a stance, it affects the entire faction.

Would you be willing to make a mod variant which would keep stalking stance for selected "sneaky" LLs only (Alith Anar, Deathmaster Snikch, Tretch Craventail). That way it's a unique feature with more limited uses during the campaign.
