@Stauff no I am a novice at modding so I used that term against myself, you were kind and respectful. Enjoy yourself and I admire your dedication to the community :)

Ok. And be sure i didnt try in any way to isult you or your work. I didnt even thought of the term "novice mistakes". I just like this game and when something is offered to us, i want to contribute in any way i can for its betterment , for all of the community. Thank you.

@Stauff Thx for leaving the two comments but I think I addressed these issues in the 5 in 1 pack for all classes. It has also been a while since I bothered to open XCOM 2 back up, I hope you have fun despite my novice mistakes

I noticed your trooper can't use PCS. In the "XComClassData.ini" , at squaddie rank, after the "ApplyToWeaponSlot=eInvSlot_unknown)))" you missed a "," and two "\\". Check it out please. After these changes, and after creating a new trooper, it works fine for me.

Yeah, fair enough. I already got my next camping set up so not like I'll be using it right away.

@Jet Sunstrider Well you did ask for a way to do it, however if anything goes wrong or you feel uncomfortable at ANY point then I suggest copying the file and placing it somewhere on your computer and if anything bad happens, you still have the original file with no changes, to which you simply put it back in where you found it

Again, more than happy to help

Worst comes to worse I can just use something like Commander's choice... I don't feel comfortable editing the game files like that.

@Jet Sunstrider

Ok so I don't think you can completely disable the class, again I would highly advise against this but what I am about to suggest will make it so that these classes won't appear. It wont get ridof the classes but you ever get them within the game, the only way to get them again would be to train a rookie as said class

1.Go to your steam folder then - steamapps - common - XCOM 2 - XCOM 2 war of the chosen -
XCom game - config - DefaultClassData

2. In that file, open it up and you will find each class as you scroll down

3.Each class will have two lines of code
'NumInForcedDeck=1'
'NumInDeck=4'

4. Set both of those end numbers to 0

5. Do this for whatever class you want to disable but again it DOES NOT remove them fromthe game, it just makes it so that the only way to get them would be to train them in the guerrilla tactics school

Hope that helps, If still confused then lemme know :)

Modded gimmick campaigns is what I live for in Xcom 2. There are other mods that can disable classes, but if you know a way I'd love to know.

@kojak thank you dude :steamhappy:

More to come...
nathanx2000  [author] 13 May, 2020 @ 1:46am
@Jet Sunstrider No it does not

BUT I can tell you how to do that, only thing is is that I don't advise it. My classes that I make all have their own gimmick BUT they all also have their own downfall. The downfall of the trooper is that they don't specialise in anything, more of a bulkier 'jack of all trades'. However I do see the initial charm in the idea :steamhappy:

Does this disable Vanilla classes? I'd love to do a campaign with only Troopers. Reminds of the RPG Overhaul.

@Arkhangel Well like I said in my first published mod,

I am very much new to the developing community so hopefully soon I can start making more advanced stuff that you might take a liking to, hopefully anyway
Arkhangel 12 May, 2020 @ 6:12am
suit yourself, I just don't get class mods if they don't add any custom perks. Adds more to the variety of possible XCOM skills, you know.
nathanx2000  [author] 12 May, 2020 @ 12:12am
@Arkhangel

Oh yeah definitely, mine doesn’t hold a candle to his however mine uses no custom elements which is the point of the series. Also I has this planned for a few weeks now when I started modding properly so I wanted to finish it atleast. And it fits within my own series of mods, X.C.O.M

Arkhangel 11 May, 2020 @ 11:05pm
Or the original and frankly best one by chocolateboi.
Aranador 11 May, 2020 @ 6:00pm
Not to be confused with my trooper mod, of course.
