Someone can explay why we should use this mod? There's other citizen packs? If I disable it without add any other mod, I will have no citizes walking in my game?

@gamophyte LSMR was using my skip.txt but you can also recalibrate and fill a new one from scratch or copy it here: c:\Users\ ... \AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\SkippedPrefabs\

After a long test, I have added to the list No Vanilla Citizens mod to the Hubs & Transport compatible modlist.

This mod does not replace vanilla citizens, they have to first despawn and they will not spawn again. Please use custom citizens from the workshop, otherwise, no one will walk on your street. Please skip CIV citizens, since they are creating giant ghosts in tunnels (visible in underground or terrain view).

So goodbye ugly vanilla citizens!

@ACanadianMoose_ As noted in the description, the mod doesn't remove vanilla citizens; it just prevents them from spawning. Vanilla citizens will despawn naturally over time if you let the simulation run.

It appears the 50s sets don't have replacements for everyone, so there will be some vanilla cims still, moose. If you use a set that has replacements for everyone, then there will no vanilla cims.

just added this mod. Checked compatibility report and I am all good. Confirmed the mod is enabled yet vanilla citizens still exist and the mod does not remove them. I can share output log if needed

I use thisbut don't use the 50s people, for the moment use Victorian people. All the vanilla cims are gone. (Yay!) I love the 50s people. It is just that the they are too late, era-wise, for my current cities. When I set cities in the 1940s and 1950s I'll use them again.

It is hard to find citizens among tourists, but I checked them, and they are all customs.

Please be careful, because in the workshop there are CIV citizens which are giant ghosts if they walk in a tunnel (not visible in standard game view).

It is still working, Sontersen. There has been a substantial increase in the number of vanilla cims in the game as they introduced new Black cims. On the one hand more racial diversity is welcome. However I play the game set in the mid 20th century and already had lots of Black sims from the 1950s sets, so having yet more vanilla cims is annoying. I wish there was a way to get rid of all vanilla cims. I have streets now that are a mix of 1950s cims and vanilla sims in a 1950s city. It looks weird.

We really need to be able to color district shades so we can better tell our district apart easier and district lines larger lettering.
like some red yellow and blue when you back the screen up to see districts

There could be an Advanced Vehicle Option (AVO) mod, but for citizens, "Advanced Citizen Options", one would have a checkbox to enable or disable disappearing genres or tourists and option to change colors.

@Akruas, you can just use pet ban which is a policy
Because there are almost no tourist class custom cims on the workshop, you will still have vanilla (tourist) cims walking around. If anyone knows how to disable tourists, please do share. Even better if an asset creator could mod some custom tourists.

For some reason this mod has started to cause my game to crash while loading recent saves. Either removing citizen agents using Loading Screen Mod or unsubscribing fixed it.

I love the new citizens. It is sad, though, that the ugly vanilla ones are still there. Is there a way to get entirely rid of the vanilla ones (bar the ones without substitutes)?

Continuing my previous comment from below, I have a huge amount of industrial zones, both Industries DLC-related, and non-DLC related as well as office and commercial zones, while at the same time have lots of residential zones, both low and high density, in my cities.

I'm not sure if it's this mod, Employ Overeducated Workers, or some other mod I've subscribed to and turned on, but since the start of this month this year, when loading up my saved cities, I've experienced a sudden massive loss of employed workers in my population despite no population loss, therefore causing the unemployment rate to drop down to around zero. Can anyone explain to me what's causing this?
