I have left it running and it the temperature hasn't risen above 85 for me and seems to fly fine. I have however updated the helicopter with a couple of V1.0 features which I have listed in the change notes. If there are any issues with the new version please let me know!

On the keyboard, Up/Down will go up/down (collective). Left/Right will yaw left/right. W/S will tilt it forward/back and thus gain/lose speed. A/D will roll it left/right. The throttle lever only controls the engine speed and does not control the collective

Turn it on using the console in between the two seats. Flick the ignition (labelled) on, bring the throttle up and press the starter (labelled). Circuit breaker is on the roof of the cockpit.

I've not been on in a couple of months but I've just tried it and it all works as normal for me.

how do you fly this thing? increasing throttle does not lift it up. No controls listed when you sit down in the pilot seat, only for wheel brakes and auto hover.

that's your issue. pushing every button sometimes leads to startup, but most always leads to failure. stop following the incorrect methods of the youtubers who play this game, and develop your own intuition.
