As a tip, if you want to try to tackle the maze one last time, the exit is randomly placed in one of four places in the map (mostly around the corners of the map and one edge). The trick is to avoid the black shadows while searching each corner of the map till you find the exit.
This mod requires near perfect coordination seen only in the better of platform gamers, terrific guessing on not so obvious navigation and a large, LARGE heaping spoon full of luck . But even if you had all those the camera manipulation and animated movement makes some of this impossible for the average gamer .
I counted and it took nearly 200 tries just at a single jump thanks to the platforms being at the edge if not nearly out of reach. Unlike the main campaign.
It is more of a self-punishing/head-smashing-a-brick-wall kind of platform jumper as you aren't able to apply your own pace to this mod. Unlike the main campaign. it forces its pace on you.
It is particularly challenging. It has checkpoints... at least there's is that. It succeeds at being different from the usual gameplay seen in the main game. I do like the concept though.
What you're doing is really unique and I am very glad to hear you plan on doing more.
