A light version of this where you get a complete rune by combining fane's mask and a source orb like the original version would be cool

Hm, great work on creating the mod. Only issue is you advertise it as being a continuation of the original one. However you've added your own nuance to it. Forcing crafting restrictions.

You say you didn't add it because of balance, but being able to shift anyways breaks the balance. No reason not to include the original functionality of the original mod for those that wanted it.

Hello everyone, i have created a new discussion thread so people can request features or give feedback for the mod. I am pleased to announce an update is on the way (most likely dropping in the next 4 days depending on my time availability due to work).

From the development list (within the new discussion thread i created) i shall be dropping the balancing changes and i am working on the custom rune icons. for a sneak peak, combo runes are incoming so if you want to merge two runes together to create a hybrid rune which you can equip on your weapon, armour or amulet stay tuned.

@brendancavalier the runes only grant the ability when equipped on a rune slot on an amulet. If on armour or a weapon they only act like a small masterwork rune. I don't believe you need to use it on a brand new game as i was able to utilise the mod in a mid game save.

If you have further issues please let me know and i will bug fix it.

Hi, was really hoping for this to work! I crafted the rune of the elf and equiped it in a weapon for Fane, but can't seem to change into an elf still. Am I using this incorrectly? Do I need to use it on a brand new game?

Yes there is a way of producing an immunity runes mod. I am currently designing several mods right now. One which addresses this scenario. This particular mod will be a craft your own armour mod and design it with the desired traits.
e.g Custom gloves, +1 to 2 handed, +1 to pyromancer, +25% resistance to fire, Grants skill charm.

this would be done by crafting a small 2 handed rune, combining it with a small pyromancer rune to get a medium fire sword rune. you then combine the medium firesword rune with a medium fire rune to get a large flaming lord rune. (all skill runes are large or giant if they have 2 skills) and then you combine the large flaming lord rune with a charm skill rune to get a giant demonic charm rune. you can then apply the rune either via normal means or using a inscriber tool (which you have to craft) with the custom made gloves to create gloves of demonic charm.

So please stand by for this mod release. It shall be called Dapper Armour Crafting.

Hello, while it is possible to create a rune that functions as the original, The only issue i have with it is balance. However, if it is super important i believe i am able to create a complex recipe maybe even a rune framed version that will allow you to achieve the effect.

I could also produce another mod that achieves this effect also. thank you for your feedback i shall look into a decide how to best approach this request.

is there a way to make immunity runes mod ? like a rune that would make you immune to a certain something (the only one i want is charm immunity for my glass cannon builds)

@lunalee89 Hey, i did originally try to create a mod to change the appearence of the shapeshifted form. (Because who doesn't want to have their fake self look cool). I ran into a huge problem with how the skill worked.

As of right now i am trying ro become more familiar with the mod tool to try and achieve this. But i am unable to find the default models that are called for the skill and creating a custom skill well my dummy turns into a pink guy cosplayer lol.

The respec mirror change was added by larian in the DE version. I will not be able to undo that. But if i can get to where i can modify the models i will make a dialog option menu to change the appearence.

Hi there! I have just downloaded your mod (thanks for the hard work!) and was wondering if there was any way you could implement being able to change Fane's appearance with the Respec Mirror? I have transformed him into a human (using the Human Rune from your mod), but was disappointed that his appearance reverted back to undead after using the mirror in Fort Joy. I really just want to be able to make him non-generic looking. =D Any help with this would be awesome!

upon checking the game for an augmenter in the fort joy area and coming up blank. I have altered the recipes (based on me running around holding the alt button) and took some common items to create a new custom item in line with gruesome nature of crafting of faces into shape-shift powers. See the updated description for recipes and new balances. See change log for quick details about the update.

Ah yep, augmentor should be found in fort joy. If i recall correctly you need to leave the joy and get to the greater island to find the augmentor herb. if you are having trouble hold the left alt key to show all items / herbs / pickable items around you. It can also be found in some people's inventory. I think the Dr lady who sells metamorph stuff can get it randomly.

Soooo...stupid question, do augmentor herbs show up at all in act 1? Really want an elf rune for Fane due to the additional dialogue body parts give for elves, since I lack an elf in the party.
